Mecatos is a Colombian bakery with a good selection of baked goods, savory pasties, and drinks.I came here with my coworkers as it is conveniently located within walking distance of my office. I really liked that this particular location had ample seating that didn't feel super crowded considering its downtown location.My coworkers and I got served fairly quickly as their staff is efficient in taking and packaging up orders. I got their mango smoothie which I didn't get a picture of but wow! I love anything mango but usually left longing for more of a fresh fruit flavor but this one was it!! I didn't get to see them make it so unsure if they use the actual fruit or nectar for their smoothies but it tasted as if I was eating the mango itself! For 16oz, I paid around $5 which was well worth it in my opinion. They do give you the option of using water or milk for the base. I went with water just to get the full taste of the mango. Would definitely come back here again to try their other food and for their other fruit smoothies!

To me, they serve the best Colombian coffee and pastries in town. With several locations across Orlando, it's super convenient to stop by for a treat.Since the holidays are approaching, I pre-ordered some Colombian tamales for the 24th (can't wait for those!). While I was there, I enjoyed my usual mocha latte topped with cinnamon--absolutely delicious--and my favorite Colombian treat, the pandebono. Their pandebonos are always fresh, fluffy, and perfectly baked.The service is top-notch, too! The staff is friendly, welcoming, and the wait time is always minimal.

I was happy to see a new downtown location for this coffee shop. So convenient!! Especially for my coworkers who are in the adjacent building. I am sharing a picture of my favorite to - go coffee I buy here and make at home. Pink Bourbon! Wowee!!! Really good, smooth and caramelly...love it!I had ordered some café con leche and a salad as I waited for my coworker to join me. The Deluxe Tropical Salad was bigger than I expected and very tasty. I would have done w/o the canned peaches but that one was on me...should've looked closer at the menu. Other than that, it had a good amount of protein (chicken), berries, greens and cheese. The mixed nuts were not mixed but chopped peanuts. Not mad because there weren't many. Now the balsamic dressing was delish!!! I don't know if it's house made but it had the right amount of tanginess and sweetness which complimented the greens and berries in the salad. Really good! 5 stars because they do serve really good coffee, the service was great and of course. the Pink Bourbon which I truly love! I recommend you visit any Mecato's but make sure to visit the DT one in ORL if you are in the area. That's all folks!!

We stopped in before a matinee at Dr Phillips. Everything looks and smells amazing as soon as you walk in. We had sandwiches and pastries. Everything was fresh and delicious. Bottled drinks come with most meals. It was about $10-11 a person and everyone was very full when we left. We had a mix of pastries and meals.The breakfast arepa was fantastic. The bacon was so crispy and the garlic sauce made it perfect. The crossant was light and buttery. My daughter had the avocado toast and it was prettier in real life than on the menu. She was upset that she got full before finishing both slices.

We were greeted as soon as we came in the door with a great beautiful smile. There are pictures on the menu of some of their food choices, which makes it a little easier to order. Also, they were eager to assist us with that. The bakery is beautifully decorated, smells delicious, and it's very clean. Their food is great; very tasty. Reasonable prices. If you are downtown, stop into Mecatos for breakfast, lunch, or dessert - any of these will leave you satisfied. My favorite menu item is the Mallorca sandwich (pictured). It is like a meal and dessert in one. They have endless pastry options (also pictured), empanadas, eggs for breakfast, salads, such a variety! I've been to all of the Mecatos locations, and every one of them is awesome and unique in its own way. Downtown has the city vibe, and that can be rowdy at times. The Lake Underhill location is more upscale and has a ton of room for working in a two-person booth by the window. Regardless of the location, I absolutely recommend the coffee, food, and vibe each location has!

Mecatos is tucked away next to the Beacham in downtown Orlando. The inside is very clean and set up in an appealing way. Any time I have been here, the staff is always incredibly nice. The food is absolutely delicious! I got the guava quesitos to take to work one day and not only did I love them, everyone at work just raved about them. I always get the Arepa de Choclo con queso and it NEVER disappoints. The caramel iced coffee that I had was delicious as well. I can't wait to try even more here! It's definitely a go-to when I'm in the area!
