The service was good and the ambiance was cozy. The food was also good.We ordered Edamame with garlic and lime and Pork Chashu Bao as starters. Both were delicious, the garlic that topped the Edamame was fresh, in my opinion a little salt would have elevated the dish. The pork Bao was seasoned and well cooked. Definitely one of my favorite items of the night. Our main dishes were Tonkotsu Ramen and Tori Paitan Ramen, both were equally delicious. Our drinks were made with fresh ingredients and were very delicious and refreshing. We will be back to try other item.

This was my first time at Mayaki and I was overall, very happy with my experience. Our waitress thought we were Doppelgängers of restaurant regulars, so she immediately brought us waters, but upon realizing her error, gave us time and guidance as we perused the massive menu. For starters, we orders some Al la Carte Salmon Sashimi, Honey Sausage and Peking Bao.The Sashimi was fresh, the honey sausage was tasty but I wish all of the pieces were charred evenly. The Peking Bao was very tasty and would definitely order this again.I also snagged a Yuzu Matcha Lemonade which came in a lovely glass and enjoy sipping on throughout my meal. For my main, I had a Chansu Don for only $10 and it was incredible! And a Bang Bang roll which had great flavors at its core but I do thing the sauce took away from the roll more than it helped. I think swapping to eel sauce may have been tastier. The service and the ambience of this place is a true standout. The lighting and cozy feel really makes you feel relaxed, even with a packed house. I'm excited to come back and try more from the very large and diverse menu.

Ughhhh we wanted to like this place so bad. Because we saw the review of the lady saying it was just like food in Japan. Everyone was nice, the restaurant was decorated so cute & neatly. It was clean in there. But like..... the dishes were not as good as I expected. Lacking seasoning ): the ramen was good but that was about the only thing we enjoyed.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy! The windows were covered and so only the lanterns were form of lighting which set the vibe. The server I had was very sweet and paid attention to small details like checking if I had service (she ended up giving me the wifi) and running out of the door when I forgot my take out food. I first ordered a strawberry matcha latte which was not strong but the strawberry purée was sweet and good so the drink was still good! The okonomiyaki was an appetizer but I ate half of it and made me full. There was alot of cabbage so if you aren't a fan of that vegetable I don't recommend it. The spicy salmon sushi came with 6 pieces and a good basic sushi. Last thing I had was the chicken though and honey sausage which was sweet from the sauce and the chicken was super tender I loved it!

OK this is not a place to go for sushi if you enjoy actual sushi. 90% of the rolls have cream cheese. They say crab but it's Krab. The waitress literally pronounced item names wrong too. When I asked how many pieces a Nigori order was she said "one but you do know there is rice under it".Fucking really? Nigori has rice under it???? Yeah this either means the waitress was being condescending, was stupid, or they cater to increadbily ignorant people that haven't had real Japanese food. This is just another trash place in the that cater to the retired people who have no clue this is just straight trash.Karaage was basically chicken nuggets that were not crispy and dripping with grease. Yuzu mayo though had a decent tang but damn, who needs a quart of mayo (yeah look at the pic sooooo much). The short ribs were like chewing raw leather, had little flavor, and your pet would be disappointed in getting served this. They dont have an alcohol license either so dont expect a drink.

I had the lunch special...3 sushi rolls for $12. The rolls were tasty, and it was a very large portion. Service was excellent. Definitely going back to try more dishes. The space on the outside is kind of a turnoff because you cannot see inside. Don't let that stop you from giving it a try!

From the second you walk in this place will surprise you. it's gorgeous on the inside and not at all what you'd expect. On to the food everything we got was absolutely delicious and fresh. we had spicy salmon hand rolls, enoki wrapped in beef and Vegan curry. all of which was so incredibly yummy with great portions and at a fantastic price!. The service here is Fantastic as well. The staff is easy going and not pushy they don't rush you or "watch you eat" they let you enjoy your food. We will definitely be coming back. the hours as well are very convenient.
