Just a hole in the wall of a strip mall... So You wouldn't expect a whole lot, well at least I didn't. Was I ever wrong... This has to be hands down some of the best Thai food I have ever eaten. We started our meal with Krab Rangoon and the chicken avocado rolls. The crab rangoon was fairly average, but the sauce that came with it was quite delicious. It was my first time for chicken avocado rolls and I really enjoyed these. Chock full with vegetables, these rolls are almost a salad. And the dipping sauce is simply phenomenal. I would eat a shoe if I get to dip it in that sauce. You just have to try it... the roll, not the shoe. For my main dish I chose the Pad Woonsen with chicken with medium spice level. The flavors were absolutely on point. I really wish I lived closer, I would love to explore other dishes from this menu. I will make it a point to stop by here any time I'm in Orlando. Not only is the food fabulous, but the service is quick and super friendly. The restaurant is actually quite cute, just small. Ample parking out front.

Stopped in during lunch while in Orlando on vacation. This was located just down the road from the resort we were staying at which was very convenient for us. We both got the Thai milk tea to drink and it was delicious. We started with the steamed gyoza and it was not for us. I'm not sure what the filling was made of but it had a texture like there was some type of chopped nuts in it and it was just off putting. The chicken pad Thai was very good and the dinner portion is definitely plenty to share or have leftovers which was the plan for me. The hubs got the beef pad see-ew and he said it was some of the best he has had. He also felt that the portion was plentiful and had enough for lunch the next day. It's a smaller restaurant with about 8 or so tables and is more on the casual side of dining but would be good for a date night, girls night out, etc. Will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.

We have family in Maitland, so here for the weekend. Tonight we 'happened upon' MAYA Thai and were very surprised with a fabulous restaurant. I ordered the eggplant tofu dish and my partner got the vegetable tofu soup. What flavor--and freshness. Don't miss out!!The people on the staff paid attention to us. My personal favorite was the young man working on his masters degree while waitering. Then I found out they just opened 3 months ago. No wonder it is spotless and the decor so bright.Go enjoy!

Food and service were superb. Ambiance is hard bc of lighting and mini-mall location. Booming with people and pick up orders. Great meal.

I ordered Pad Thai with seafood. The quality of the seafood was okay. While the food was edible, it didn't taste authentic. It was overly sour and the noodle was soggy. The biggest downside for me was the price; it's quite pricey compared to other Thai restaurants in the area that offer better food at a lower cost. The service was good, and the ambiance was casual, but it got busy during dinner time.

Above-average Thai restaurant in nice apartment area. Enjoyed the papaya salad and green curry. Both were level hot and perfect to my tasting without being overly spicy. Our server was really kind. The place inside was pretty ordinary.

Stopped by on Sunday evening, surprised to find the restaurant extremely busy, packed inside and out. The staff was welcoming but they could've used more waiters; it took us almost 40min to order and receive our food.Happy to report the food was very good. Respect their spice level, the medium level packed more than enough heat. The seafood crab fried rice came with plenty of mussels and squids. The pad thai was stir fried really well, came with lots of flavors. Though the wait took longer than expected, we still enjoyed our meal.

Maya Thai is the latest addition to the increasingly bustling array of restaurants on Daryl Carter Boulevard. The space is a no frills, but very clean, dining room that offers both a takeout counter and table service. The staff is welcoming and personable.I dined alone and ordered vegetable spring rolls (vegetarian) and a red curry with tofu and vegetables. The spring rolls were OK. While the ingredients were fresh, and the kitchen did a great job of NOT making them greasy, they also lacked a defining flavor. While they certainly served their fundamental purpose of eliminating my hunger pangs, they did not delight my palate. Perhaps a little more oil was in order. The curry was similarly not as flavorful as I would have liked, although I must admit I don't know how one makes a somewhat bland curry. Again the vegetables were quite fresh, but I did not get the aromatic flavors that I usually like to experience in a curry. Admittedly, I ordered a hot curry so that may have impacted my taste buds a bit.Based on one experience, Maya Thai is good, but not great. I may try it again but with so many other good options in the area, it may get lost in the crowd.

We came in as a group of 7 + a baby on a Friday night. The place was busy as it is new and in a great location. We waited a little while for a food but it was so worth it. Every single dish was phenomenal. From the fried rice to the drunken noodles(which I went back for the next day). Service was amazing and they were so happy to see us come back the next day. I highly highly recommend this place. Just be ready for quite a wait but it will absolutely be worth it.
