This particular restaurant, formerly known as Dominick's Restaurant, located in the Tuscawilla subdivision on Winter Springs Blvd. in Winter Springs, in my opinion will not last long. Although the lay out of the restaurant is very nice, the menu is limited and they are asking too much money for some menu items such as, spaghetti & meatballs. They want $18 for spaghetti and meatballs, which is ridiculous. Let's face it, pasta cost pennies, and restaurants can buy pasta at a whole sale! Even I can purchase 2 lb box of spaghetti at Publix for $2.00. Then the restaurant will probably give you maybe 2-3 meatballs; whoa! On their menu they list Sea Bass for $32. I asked an employee, what type of seabass? (Most restaurants serve Chilean Sea Bass, which is absolutely mouthwatering. BoneFish Restaurant has Chilean Sea Bass for $32. ) The server didn't know what type of sea bass they served, and asked someone. Keep in mind, there are many types of sea bass. The server informed us that the sea bass served is Branzino, which is very tasty, but cheaper than Chilean Sea Bass; so why the $32. price??Another example are their wings, 6 wings for $12, with only three choices of flavor...WHAT??? You can get 10 wings at Gator's Dockside in Winter Springs for $16 and have 4-5 choices of flavors and how you want them made.Again, I say, I'm very skeptical about this restaurant lasting. There is just nothing special about it!The City of Winter Springs is definitely in sore need of a 4-5 star restaurant. The location of this restaurant is fantastic as it is in the heart of the Tuscawilla PUD (planned unit development), with residents with very high income. This restaurant would be an absolute gold mind, if the right owner, with real trained chefs (not cooks) would draw people like bees to honey. They have a huge covered screened patio for outside dining and on certain nights, live music. There is off-street parking, but if this restaurant was a 4-5 star restaurant, there wouldn't be enough parking. I wish them all the best, but if they don't revamp their menu, in my opinion, they are doomed. There are too many other restaurants that serve the same menu items that are delicious, and for less .

The service was great. Our server was very attentive and met all our wants and needs. The food was just not good. The Alfredo wan not edible The Ravioli looked like and tasted like it had been microwaved. Sauce all dried up.The short ribs were cut from the bone into pieces. When we requested our checks the server asked how our meals were and we told her about the pasta dishes. She apologized and said the chief chef was not working that evening and apologized.Great music was played by a couple

We were planning to try Dominick's one night until I opened up Facebook to see that it closed. My partner and I were so excited to see that just a few short weeks later, it was reopened under new ownership as Marie's. This is in my in laws neighborhood and we pass by it often. We went around 5:30 on a Friday and were seated right away. Our server was very fast and helpful from the moment we sat down until we left. For a starter, we chose the fried mozzarella. It was delicious and in a triangle shape, unique to the typical dish. One person in our group ordered the smaller cheese pizza and enjoyed it. Another had the short rib pasta and enjoyed it as well. I had the chicken Marsala and could hardly stomach most of the dish due to how strong and sweet the taste was. The dish would have been so much better had the wine taste not been so prominent. Unlike other chicken Marsala dishes I've had, this one came with roasted potatoes, which were the best part of the meal. The house salads that came with two of our dishes were average. I love how they cut up the tomatoes. While we opted for indoor seating, guests could also sit outside and enjoy the year round nice Florida weather. We went in with super low expectations, but it turned out better than expected. We all agreed that when we come back, it will be for something simple like pizza. Especially because they have us a coupon code for takeout orders. Really hope this stays open.

This place tried really hard. They are brand new taking the place of Dominick's in winter springs. Unfortunately, the pizza was just OK. It was super thin, burnt, the crust was a funny shape, and there were barely any toppings on it. The flavor wasn't bad, but because it was so thin there was still lots of flour on the bottom and was much more burnt than I like. The host was polite but you could tell he was still learning the ropes as we had a few issues with the card reader. Hopefully this place gets better with time!

Had a fantastic family gathering last weekend. The ambiance of the venue felt like a winter park classy joint, but in local winter springs. Staff was attentive and quick. The food was great. Specifically the pizzas (white pizza and Marie's) and the goat cheese pepper poppers. Oh and the bottomless sangria was a great touch.

We went a few weeks ago and we're happy to see some of the old servers and some new ones. Pizza was good. I like thin crust! Salad was tasty. Service was great. Owner came by. We'll be back.

Terrible experience. Half our table's food came out, the other half was almost 30 minutes later. One of the meals was wrong. I found the manager/owner to ask what was going on. The owner didn't seem to be too concerned. He said it was their "soft opening" (even though they have been open for a month). The check was wrong, and it took a long time to get it corrected. Our total bill was around $200 with drinks, appetizers and entrees. I left feeling like I had wasted my hard earned money. The owner was unconcerned about our situation and made no attempt to come to our table to explain and apologize. We will not be back.

Great music on Wednesday! The heaters were not all working and were told that the propane was out. The chicken marsala was fair, and had roasted potatoes instead of pasta. No bread yet, but was told they will be getting some after soft opening. Perfect setting but rather disappointed.
