Maracas Latin Restaurant

I got grille chicken here with red beans, white rice, and plantains. The chicken had good flavor but was a bit rubbery in texture. The rice and beans needed more flavoring/seasoning. The plantains were the best part of the meal. The service was alright, although they did mess up one of the members of my party's order.

Good food but very slow service and since they moved to the new spot they have gotten so pricey but don't get me wrong coffee and breakfast and everything else is super good

Amazing food, great service, cute ambiance! The oxtail was 10/10 and tamarind juice was delicious!

Let start with the PRO : Food is good, really good. Point.CONService -to be served you have to beg "please I am here .. I am not invisible " When you have been ask what do you want, you get served whatever they want, the excuse, it come with it . and this practice increases the bill. Trust me ..Also, maybe be the smile comes after you tip.Price- exaggerated and ridiculous expensive! I know the ticket includes the food, ambiance, etc.... But the restaurant is way far to be like a Season 52 or Ocean Prime . For a bowl of Sancocho ( rice apparently is included because I didn't ask) and a service of Pernil (pork leg) with green bananas, no drinks I paid around $46.00 . Ridiculous.Atmosphere- is a quiet place comparing with other hispanic restaurants. But the set of the tables and booths is confusing. Looks like a maze. I don't know how the servers can walk between them. Who ever did the layout gave priority how looks , maybe a little fancy, but in application has no logic at all.Next time that I stop here, is because someone else is paying.

Great spot for lunch and delicious Latin food! Food doesn't taste like just pure salt, chicken is not dry like it's been sitting out. Highly recommend for a good lunch spot if you are ever in south Kissimmee!

Attending conferences in Orlando or the Mouse House as I like to refer to it. I met and old friend and her wonderful little one for lunch. Mi amiga suggested Maracas because she's heard good things about it and it wasn't too far from my hotel. They have a nice menu. Lots of Dominican fair to choose a your lunch or dinner. The lunch was pretty good. My only complaint would be that I received Frijoles Negro instead of the Frijoles Rojo that I ordered. Coming from South Florida, red beans would have been a nice change of pace. The shrimp were very good, so was the stuffed chicken breast. Didn't get to taste the Ox Tail; I guess me amiga didn't get to see Sesame Street in Puerto Rico. She never learned to share, but I'm sure they were good, I'll definitely check out Maracas the next time I'm in the Mouse House.

The food is great here , I love the Dominican Breakfast with Mangu & Salami. This place also has great lunch and dinner options. They recently moved locations and I love the more modern look. The service is nice the staff has been there for a while.

Ordered a cuban sandwich from Maracas and it was very tasty. The pork was juicy and overall packed pretty good with ingredients. It was my first time visiting this restaurant and I quickly noticed how clean it was, bright, with a nice inviting vibe from the staff. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

I really enjoyed the food here! The pernil was super good!! Black beans were decently flavored. Tiramisu was ok.

Affordable, delicious, tasted right on point. Am on vacation and I wish this restaurant came home with me. Served by wonderful and kind workers this was definitely my favorite restaurant. Their authenticity of this food was amazing and I definitely recommend to all those in the Florida area and those who are visiting.
