First time visit did not disappoint. The food was awesome and service just as good.We started with fried calamari and shrimp. Fresh and delicious with a salty flavor the matched perfectly with the house made marinara.Jess had pasta brasciola which was home made pasta, sausage and mushrooms. And LOTS of garlic. She loved it!I had my usual. Chicken parm and it's likely the best I've had anywhere. Everything tasted homemade and we will definitely be back soon.

The food was absolutely delicious. This is reported as 2 $$ on yelp it should be $$$$ 4 we did have two drinks each for a group of 4 and 2 appetizers so that could be the reason. When we got there we just sat and waited for a while the. We walked into the area and said can someone assist us and the two staff just looked at us. The owner son came and sat us. Everything was fresh and very flavorful. The place was very nice had a lot of seating a bit confusing on where to go in at. Found out you go through the bakery, but should had someone there to greet the guests. The food was so delicious! I would definitely come back.

Review for the new location!Food is still top notch and the same menu. So this is still the best Italian restaurant in East Orlando. The restaurant is light and airy with more whites and light blues throughout. It has 2 rooms plus the patio. It definitely has a more casual vibe no and not claustrophobic like the last place. They now have a full bar and I mean big long bar! They feature a lot of Italian cocktails and wines but they've got everything else as well. Prices are a bit high but this is Avalon Park!They also have a small cafe for espresso. Didn't try that. Not sure how that will fair with the French cafe and Colombian bakery next store. Kudos to the team for expanding and improving a great place.

The food was amazing and perfect portion to eat and enjoy something sweet. There was an opera performer who added to the vibe so beautifully. Lemon cake was a must have that was light and not too tart. The pasta was all terrific and made to order to give you the full Italian experience in Avalon Park. This has become our Saturday night tradition! Fruti De Mar is our usual but we have ventured into the Lobster Ravioli, and Chicken Parm. All are amazing and the ambiance is perfect with light Italian music in the background! Everyone greets us as we arrive like we are a VIP!The best in the service from the staff and Justin, our Bartender! He's the best, answers all questions and keeps our wine flowing!!

Located in Avalon park! Just got my lashes done and this was close by. So many good reviews and I see why! Greeted warmly as soon as we entered. Our waiter was so friendly. We started off with the calamari and it was lightly breaded, not oily, very delicious. Had the house cab, great too. For dinner I had the chicken Milanese, again lightly breaded, fried to perfection, juicy chicken. Amazing!! The vibe was home! Loved it! Can't wait to return.

We visited Mangia on a Saturday in April, and it was lovely! We had just enjoyed some wine at Brix and mortar and were looking for a filling meal. Mangia was very busy, but we managed to snag 2 seats at the bar. The restaurant is well lit and has a very nice vibe to it. Our service at the bar was great. I got the pasta carbonara and it was simply perfect. My friend got the amatriciana and was thrilled with it. I would absolutely go back here, and I hope to try some of their beautiful looking appetizers next time.

Avalon Park~We didn't have a reservation on a Friday evening and they were packed! The gracious hostess was able to seat 5 of us in less than 20! We chatted at the bar until our table was ready! Great atmosphere and even better service. Justin and Simone took great care of us. Their knowledge of the menu was spot on and helped us with our selections. The bread, balsamic and olive oil was on point. All of our entrees were absolutely delicious too! We each had something different and got to share a little bit with everyone. Definitely a great spot to hang out on a Friday evening. Plenty of patio space for when it cools down in the fall. Can't wait to return and try something different from the menu. We were very impressed by the fact that this restaurant has a lot of family members working there. Especially since they are from Italy. Made us feel like they knew exactly what they were doing!!! We had Tagliata steak, mushroom raviolis, eggplant Parmesan, chicken salad, and mushroom risotto. Everyone agreed that this was some of the most authentic and delicious Italian food ever! We even enjoyed having some yummy desserts. Sorry, no pictures of those because we ate them too quickly.

I really wanted this to be five stars since the menu looked amazing but I wasn't a huuuuge fan of my dish. But first, we ordered the calamari and arancini to start. Both were delicious! Even though the arancini comes with two they are quite large and good to share; the calamari also is big! Definitely good to share between at least 3 people. We also loved the bread and ordered two more servings before the food came out! As for the mains, I didn't enjoy my seafood pasta much. The clams and mussels (though delicious) had a few tiny bits of sand left which is not unusual but still unpleasant, and the sauce for the pasta was bland in my opinion. I ended up adding copious amounts of cheese and some red pepper flakes to remedy it. Granted, I did swap out the original "light red sauce" for a white wine based sauce, but I still think the sauce should be tasty on its own. Also my friend ordered ravioli and initially joked about usually being disappointed with the serving size, with the server reassuring us it is a good amount. And then when it came out it still had only 5 pieces ... it was delicious, but just know to not order raviolis if you're starving! Overall, 4 stars for ambiance, service, and everyone else's dishes, and I will definitely be back to try more things on the menu!
