Mama's Cheesesteak

From mama's service to her special wings I almost didn't want to post a review because I don't want her to get too busy lol I love how she always remembers to check in with our family during the holidays and sends us text with any specials! Her food is so good and ever since she recommended her special sauce I go back every few months or my partner goes for lunch sometimes! We often get the chicken cheesesteak! Very good! Oh and if you want a sweet and sour drink order her lady Gaga!!!!( a mix of strawberry and lemonade with a twist) our family also grabs some watermelon soda to rinse it all down!!! Don't judge a book by its cover it's a small corner spot off of Westmoreland but you'll be alright!With love,The Mum

Alright...it seems like no one has reviewed this place. Maybe cause its near by downtown in this sort of sketchy plaza next but that didn't stop me from trying it! I was told that they had awesome wings and that their buffalo sauce was amaaaaazing. The order: Philly Cheesesteak with buffalo wings that comes with a drink and fries. The break down: Philly was mediocre. They use canned mushrooms which I was kind of suprised. I dont even remember when was the last time I ate a mushroom from a can. It was a little bland, needed some salt, but none the less, your regular philly. No stars or fireworks. Then we had the wings. Which are whole wings that weren't broken down, which means it came with the wings and tips. It was crispy and very tasty. It was a mixture of like buffalo sauce and teriyaki sauce so it was sweet but still a little spicy with that vinegar in the back. I mean this maybe had a star or two, but no fireworks. The verdict - I must say, the wings were much better than the Maryland Fried chicken on 50 e. colonial, where both places are just as sketchy.... if ya know what i mean :)BTW: Some guy order Beef Fried Rice....wasn't on the menu, so maybe its good? I mean it was own by Korean ppl...

I love their food I travel all the way from the east side to get food from here. They have the best chicken wings and subs.

The outside of the building is a little spooky. As you walk in, it feels like just another hole in the wall food place. But, the food is actually really good. And the staff was very nice. I had the cheesesteak combo. The food was moist, well cooked, and tasted great. The staff was even willing to make some veggie substitutions for me.If I lived in this area, I would visit this place again, for sure.

Best cheesesteak in orlando. I've tried laspadas and a bunch of other places. This is the winner. I'm from the philly area so I'm a chzsteak snob for sure.

This place is easy to drive pass but on a weekday afternoon while searching for grub we stopped. Its a lil hole in the wall but the food was really good!! If u see this place please stop u wont regret it!!!

The food here is yummy. I love the philly cheese steak. The owners are super friendly. Hard workers. This place is extra extra clean. I would recommend this place. Don't let the look of appearance fool you.

I wanted to try this place out for a while because it's close to my job, I love cheesesteaks, and also the rave reviews about it. The place didn't look shady to me, like others describe it, but I'm used to areas like that so whatever. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak with mushrooms, fries, and a can soda for lunch. The cheesesteak was okay; something I did notice is that the peppers were actually banana peppers, where I'm actually used to green peppers, but that's okay it gave the steak a tangy meets sour taste to it. The flavor of the cheesesteak wasn't amazing like I thought it would be, and I have had a better Philly at American Deli to be honest. The can soda, which was a Dr. Pepper was extremely flat and I took two sips of it and threw it out. The fries were pretty good so that saved my lunch because it was a decent amount. I don't know if I'll be back but if so, I'll definitely try something else because the cheesesteak wasn't it

Best cheesesteak joint in Orlando. Mama's is a Clean, small diner with plenty of tables to eat at. This really is a cheesesteak place though, so I recommend sticking to the sandwiches if you want their best. The teriyaki cheesesteak is no joke and their Cuban is top of the line. The store is slightly hidden, right next to a coin laundry hidden behind a gas station. Don't be afraid to park anywhere inside the lot, I usually roll up parallel to the street because the coin laundry can get packed. If you're picking up a couple of cheesesteaks on the way home or want to get the fries and large drink for a great sit-in lunch, Mama's will not disappoint.

This is definitely one of Orlando's hidden gems. Wish I didn't have to drive 60 miles to eat here, but I will.
