Mama Romano’s - Bellalago

Wowowowowow! Mama Romano's is THE spot! While the restaurant isn't very big, the vibe is great and inviting. The service is excellent and exudes professionalism and care. The food...oh, man, the food! Please hear me when I say the food is delicious.My favorites are the Bruschetta La Caprese Style, Pasta Aioli, and Fettuccine Alfredo...SO GOOD! My husband is a fan of the Pepperoni Roll. We're both excited to dine at Mama Romano's again soon so that we can try some other menu items!!

It's a long way from Italy and millions of meals away from Italian dining. Oh yes the place kinda looks like it's an Italian eatery, the pictures and photo/shoots look interesting, and the bookcase filled with groceries definitely adds a certain ambiance. The menu reads ok and is somewhat interesting.We settled on Clams Casino to start with only to be amazed by the little clam shells dusted with bread crumbs swimming in a pool of oil over saturated with garlic and spices. That's a long way from a true Clam Casino.Then we followed with Caesar Salad (when in Rome all hail to Cesar)But wait who puts tomato and cucumber over chopped romaine lettuce dusted with Parmesan cheese and boxed croutons? Yup Mamma Romano do that's who! I can't begin to describe the somewhat tangy, somewhat sweet goop of dressing they serve with this salad. Yuck!Ok, now came a pan of beautiful garlic dusted rolls fresh from the pizza oven that were delicious. Maybe things are on an upswing as I await the dinner entrees.Two veal Marsala with pasta featured two breaded veal "patties" with a side penne pasta covered in a brown sauce of some unknown ingredient.I had Sweet Sausage and peppers with Penne that arrived in a bowl of heavy (thick) pink cream sauce. There were slices of sausage and a (that's one) sliver of green pepper and a few slices of onion.That's Not Italian!In fact it's a long way from Italian Style.There are a few places scattered around Orlando that deserve the right to call themselves Italian kitchens. This isn't one of them.

I stopped here for lunch and so glad I did! It's a very cozy Italian restaurant, and we were seated immediately. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo mama's style, which included the red sauce and beef, and was absolutely phenomenal. It included salad and garlic rolls. I really recommend stopping by here if you want Italian food!

Mama romanos food is always amazing. The service is always great. I wish they wouldClean a bit better the restaurant because the ambiance here would be great if there was not many spider webs around.

Omg I usually take a picture but it was so good. I ordered garlic knots and they were so good. Order of spicy mussels marinara so favorable. My husband ordered mussel marainara pasta. But they did forget my soup but that is cool. The service was very good and the inside was very nice.

Everything is great in there included service and ambiance as well. When I order the Mama's lasagna with beef and sweet sausages with mozzarella cheese to bake it. When I ate it and they did forgot to add the sweet sausage in the lasagna which so disappoint for me. It was alright and hope next time they should not forget some taste of exceptional food what we want to order it in that restaurant.

Very good food but a little pricey but it's worth it when u want good Italian food service is good it gets a little packed on the weekends and the delivery time is a little bit of a wait

We stopped here for drinks and girl talk! Margaritas were perfection and we sat on the patio and enjoyed the music

I have been wanting to try this place after seeing all of their commercials on local TV! It finally worked out as I was in the Poinciana/Bellalago area for an event.. surprisingly there are like NO sit-down restaurants/bars in the area so this is a great option. It was casual and comfortable, we sat at a hightop table in the bar area. We were pleasantly surprised to see live music, a small jazz combo group right there. I can see how this might be loud and not for everyone, but we liked it. Food was pretty legit Italian, big menu and big portions. Got the penne a la vodka with shrimp, so good. Not sure why but the leftovers were actually even better the next day. Appreciated the bar as well, reasonably priced beer. Server/bartender was nice and attentive. They had at least 1 small tv behind the bar which we also appreciated! We stayed a bit later and were one of the last groups before they closed because we were watching a game. They were nice to not rush us out. Just so many positives overall! I would go back for just drinks and/or for a nicer meal.

Came in on a Friday afternoon and had an absolutely amazing experience. Very friendly and attentive service. The pizza was 10/10 exactly what I hoped for.
