Mama Mia's Steak Subs & Sandwiches

Was randomly driving by to another place and smelled this restaurant before I saw it. Made a mental note to double back. Got lost, but when I eventually found it, boy was I happy!It's an old school sandwich shop, that serves everything from hoagies, to sandwiches, to burgers. Reasonably priced, with ample seating, great and knowing customer service, and delicious food.I got the chicken parm, which was gloriously cheesy. The hubs got a cheeseburger and fries. Which were salted JUSY RIGHT.Spending under $15 on great food is always a plus in my book! Check this place out!!

Yelp said hidden gem hole-in-the-wall. Yelp said friendly spot. Yelp said pleasant welcoming helpful staff. Yelp said it gets busy. And Yelp said the food was simple, delicious and well-prepared.Bi go! Yelpers were accurate in all points. Simple food. Plentiful my first time so I just got a small cheesesteak with only meat and cheese. Got to measure them on the basics. Excellent. I will return for more sandwiches.

Mama Mia's Steak Subs is an outstanding find, especially if you're in the mood for a hearty, satisfying sandwich. I recently tried their cold Italian sandwich, and it was nothing short of amazing. Even though I opted for the small size, I could barely finish half of it due to the generous amount of meat. It's incredibly filling, making it a great value for the price.The bread deserves a special mention--it was so soft that it didn't feel like you were consuming a lot of carbs. This softness enhanced the overall experience, allowing the flavors of the meats and other ingredients to really shine through.Nestled in an industrial area, Mama Mia's is a true gem. Despite the unassuming location, it was bustling around lunchtime, a testament to its popularity. On the day I visited, the AC was unfortunately broken, and I felt for the employees working in the heat. The dining room was quite warm, but honestly, I forgot about the discomfort once I started eating the delicious sandwich.The cost of lunch was a bargain, especially considering the quality and quantity of the food. In today's market, finding such a great deal is rare.I'm already looking forward to my next visit when I plan to try the steak sandwich. If it's anything like the cold Italian, I'm sure it will be fantastic. Mama Mia's Steak Subs is definitely worth a visit for anyone in the area, offering delicious sandwiches that are both filling and affordable.

My coworker recommended this place. He said they had the best subs in the area. I walked in during lunch. Every blue collar worker within a 10 mile radius was there as well. I only say this because if you're a woman alone you probably shouldn't eat here. I felt REALLY uncomfortable at the stares and I'm no looker. I ordered a meatball sub, took one bite and threw it out. The meatballs weren't that sucy, they opened a can of mushrooms and threw those one there, I was so disappointed there was no provolone or mozzarella on my sub either. Thank god the fries were edible.

Our friends have been coming here for 30 years and obviously we needed to try it out. I love these old schools establishments. Everything is the same and it transports you back in time. We heard the lunch crowd is always packing this place up. The staff behind the counter were all great and so was the young lady that took our order. I ordered the steak teriyaki sub and boy was it good. The sub roll was also very tasty. The crinkled fries were also good. Nice to see places like this are still around. We will be back once we come back to town.

I don't often to get come here but when I'm working in Orlando I'm fortunate enough that Mama Mia's is literally across the street. I can say by far this place is one of my favorite cheesesteak places because of the sandwich pictured with this review. Their teriyaki cheesesteak is by far my favorite thing I've had here. Always hot and fresh. Quality ingredients. And never disappoints. I was going to give the joint 4 stars but then I started thinking about what I didn't like and honestly I couldn't think of anything to justify dropping a star.

Amazing subs. Just flat out really good. Go there if you're in the area cause you won't regret it.

This food was fantastic. Service was fast waited about 5 mins and had my food ready to go. The crew was very kind and helped me get exactly what I was looking for. Price aren't crazy either they are very affordable for a great meal. I'll def be back

I recommend you try this place! The staff is amazing super friendly and helpful. Interior is a little rustic and feels like a family style restaurant. The meat is sliced and cooked to order in their meat slicers so it tastes very fresh.I have gotten food from here twice. The first time was an order from DoorDash. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese sandwich with grilled onions and mayonnaise. It was amazing the eggs were fried to perfection, the bacon was crispy and flavorful, and the cheese was nice and melted. The second time my Dad and I came to pick up the food for lunch. We both ordered Philly Cheesesteaks. It took about 10-15 mins for the food to be cooked. It is well worth the wait! They give you so much meat and a massive sandwich. I just wish there was more cheese on the sandwich, but I am sure you can just ask for extra cheese. Overall I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a good lunch. If you like your sandwiches cheesy don't forget to ask for extra cheese!

I go to mama Mia's on a regular and once in awhile there is an issue. So I of course call and usually it gets taken care Of. So today we were craving cheesesteak And mushroom. So I went in and waited on the food. Stephanie showed me the mushrooms and she said she didn't know why they cooked to hard, not edible. So then I waited few mins for her to make another batch, Stephanie didn't even ask me to look at this second batch and honestly she should have or should have told me they are also cooked to hard and not edible, they are going in the garbage. The cheese steak has so much grease, the wrap is tearing and grease went thru the brown bag. So my mom was not happy about the mushrooms and the grease/ coming out the paper bag that it was soggy and bag tore. So she called to talk to manager Stephanie and she was rude and said that i have complained like 5 times and she is too busy to deal with this, and for me just to not come back. She knew those mushrooms were too hard and she even said they are cooked in grease. Duh I know they are cooked in grease but it was not the mushrooms it was the cheese steak that was sooo greasy. I don't always have a issue but if there's an issue then yes I'm going to complain- that's my money im spending. Guess I can't go get my fries or breakfast sandwich or blt anymore. This sucks and she must be having a bad day and on her period; because she was rude and mean.
