Mama Lau gave me one of the most authentic flavors in the Orlando area. This is the perfect place to have a comforting meal. The broth on the Bon bo hue and Pho were spectacular. All the spices and herbs were present in the flavor creating the right taste. The place is small, but very cozy and organized. Servers were nice enough to explain some dishes to people in my party who were not that familiar with the dishes. Definitely a must!

Mama Lau has great authentic flavors and options. We were able to grab a jumbo sugar cane drink for each of us and a plate of razor clams. It was DELICIOUS. I am only giving it 3 stars because of expensive our bill came to be for 3 items. We were only stopping in for a refreshing drink but our bill came out to be $60 for a plate of razor clams and 2 jumbo sugar cane drinks. I wish the pricing was more transparent, we would have indulged in a bit more, but it did break the bank for us. It was a great experience in flavors but it was something out of our budget.

Goi oc is yummy. One of the great dish we had. Oc mong tay was also good. First time tried that ever. Tamarind sauce made that dish one of my favorite. Oc nuong tieu was also tasty. Hot vit lon was cooked to perfect not so soft or hard. Mixed in tamarind sauce was quite an experience. One of the surprised dish was com bo luc lac. It was cooked in high heat and provide awesome taste. It reminds me mi xao don in vietnam. I would order that that anytime. We ended the evening with hotpot and it was a good choice. It has all sort of flavors mixed in. The bad (not so good). None of the drinks we ordered were any good at all. Oc huong was hard and not marinated enough. Ngeu hap xa was not so fresh at all. Oc buou nuong muoi ot was so plain. The other com dishes were ok nothing special at all. I know I missed other dishes but none of them stood out. Overall it was quite expensive and small portion. There were some great unique dishes but the rest were nothing special. If you like spicy food you will be disappointed. Prepare to ask for more chili. The service was typical vietnamese. No smile from the waitress. The female owner was abit pushy when we started ordering the first few dishes. After we started ordering more she became more happy I would come again since it has some unique dishes.

Great place for Vietnamese food. I wish we had time to try the seafood. Perhaps another time. The beef pho, Bun bo hue, and crab and tomatoe noodles soup were all delicious. Service is quick and they have an extensive menu.

For appetizers, I tried their crispy spring rolls, which were perfectly golden and filled with a delicious mixture of vegetables and meat. The flavors were fantastic, and they paired wonderfully with their dipping sauce.Moving on to the entrees, I opted for a classic bowl of pho and Mama Lau's specialty seafood stir-fry. The pho broth was rich and flavorful, and the ingredients were fresh and plentiful. The seafood stir-fry was a burst of flavors and textures with shrimp, squid, and vegetables cooked to perfection.

We didn't tried the snails dishes, the thai clams, and squid. The snails were not fresh for sure. Clams were ok but the thai seasoning was not what I expected. Roasted salted squid tasted the best. Food presentation was good but I would avoid the snails.

Vietnamese hotpot and shellfish at its finest! Mama Lua & Oc is a hidden gem in Orlando! I'm a fan of Vietnamese hotpot, and this restaurant takes it to the next level with their Vietnamese seafood hotpot. The broth was aromatic, and the menu selection was impressive. We ordered so much food and everything was amazing. Perfect for a cozy, family dining experience.

The first thing you notice when you come in, is a spacious and very welcoming vibe. The decorations are appealing and has a great atmosphere. The portions were a bit disappointing, I asked for rice and it was tiny, the thit kho portion only came with 2 pieces of pork belly and 2 eggs. Aside from the portion size, the canh Chua was SPOT ON. It was amazingly delicious and was one of the best ive had in a while. The snails were delicious for both the flavors I tried, super fresh as well. The mussels were surprisingly amazing. The combination they used, really highlighted the dish well. The service was a bit slow and when I asked for more rice, they didn't have any ready so I wasn't going to wait 20 mins for rice or my food would be cold. Overall it was a great experience, if you enjoy snails, I'd recommend coming here!

I love escargot and this restaurant has it. This is a Vietnamese restaurant that serve this type of food. They also has the razor clam. This restaurant serves some exotic food. Price is not cheap. We got two different escargot dishes. We have the steam escargot with lemon grass. We also got the grill escargot with sate. The lemon grass is like soup with escargot. This escargot has some sand in it. It can clean better. The grill escargot is the larger escargot. With sate sauce. Both dish is good. Value is just ok for the food. But value is just ok. May be the razor clam is better.

The first time we came here on a trip, the food prices here were a bit high, but every dish only had a few snails. In terms of seasoning every dish was too sweet, as for the hot pot dish we ordered a large pot for 7 people In principle vermicelli always included with hot pot but they charged extra for vermicelli while we didn't order it, this is too unreasonable, and the staff is not Friendly and not happy when serving customers. This is the first and last time I come here and not recommend
