Hot dog. This is a jumbo hot dog on kaiser roll. It was very good and unexpected for a poolside dog.

After a long trek searching for a casual bar with a view, we came across the Maji Pool Bar. The female bartender handmade my drink after the dispenser wasn't ready. She made our day with her kind words and friendly attitude. Also, there's a view overlooking the Savanah just a few steps away. I think I've found my favorite resort at Disney!

Good spotWe decided to do a little Disney hotel hopping and then on the Disney Springs. We knew from a prior visit you can see some of the exotic animals they have at Animal Kingdom from the Animal Kingdom Lodge, so we headed over and brought a couple of friends. We started at the Jambo House, the hotel part where you can see many animals, and we learned about Kidani Village.Kidani Village offers more animal viewing and is also where the Sanaa restaurant is located. Food, yes, we were hungry. We also couldn't get into Sanaa right away, so we asked if there was anywhere else to eat. Yes, the Maji Pool Bar. So that's how we ended up at this little outside bar that offers food.Nice pool area, lots of places for kids to play. We finally found the Maji and looked over the menu. I liked the two ladies at Maji as we worked our way through placing our order, but we did have to repeat things. I ordered their Kenya Coffee Barbecue Sandwich, which turned out to be a pulled pork sandwich with some sauce with a slightly odd flavor, I assume from the Kenya Coffee part. It was ok, something to fuel up on for the afternoon.

Visit 6/17/22. Ill give it a B for pool bars; great service, limited selection, but everything is made well. Properly mixed drinks-you wont feel robbed. We only had a turkey sandwich which was pre-made but entirely acceptable. Its a real cute pool bar with wonderful service.

Came here while waiting for our dinner reservations and explored the hotel grounds. We came across this pool bar and grabbed a drink and sat in the common area. It felt very tropical a d like we were vacationing at an all inclusive resort in the Caribbean. We didn't go in the pool but the area where we sat we had a view of it and it looked nice. We may want to stay here on our next visit to check it out.

This was a great little spot at the far edge of the pool area. I liked that it was tucked away, though, so it wasn't really pushing booze on the patrons or very visible to the kids. It isn't without some flaws, though. For one, the prices are a bit steep for drinks. Not so bad on the food prices, though. Also, the seating area isn't the most comfortable for a pool bar, but it's cozy enough. The decor is nice, though, a very high ceiling and neat lights. All of the staff I interacted with there were pleasant and friendly. And the food was actually pretty darn good! We had a turkey sandwich and berbere rubbed beef sandwich (super good!). The chips were homemade and quite tasty too, so it was overall a very solid lunch. Given that the meals were much cheaper than the drinks, that part of the experience was a bargain! It's a quaint little spot, well worth a trip or a pause away from the pool for a bit. Also, if you're looking for the nightly s'mores roasting (from 5-6pm), it's behind Maji. Never hurts to familiarize yourself with the layout of the place before hunting some s'mores!

Probably more 3.5 than 4, but hey it is a pool bar with food options. Based on my experience and expectations of not getting my tastebuds too excited, I was pleasantly surprised. Apparently they changed the menu up since the last review 2 years ago. I just ordered a simple hotdog. This was not an ordinary hotdog. It was jumbo - not long, it came on a fresh, crispy, chewy kaiser roll. It had flavor and was filling, plus you could choose the cups you wanted. I also ordered a Lava Smoothie for my son. It was basically raspberry purée and piña colada. I tasted it and it was yummy. Tasted real. Although we came on a slow rainy day, I thought the bar tender, Cynthia, has a wonderful personality and brightened the dreary day. Service was great, fast and friendly. Nice experience.

Sloooow service! An extra star for a beautiful location filled with a splash area, pool, slide, and amazing animals. The bar tender is mixing drinks AND taking food and drink orders. This means you wait to place an order. The chef is alone even during the lunch rush! This means you wait to get food. 30 minute wait for a hot dog and falafel.

Food at this pool bar was awful. Stale bread for the chili dog and the salad had very few toppings. I know, it's a salad, but it was just lettuce and chicken. I was honestly overall surprised at a Deluxe resort that this was the quality of food. The drinks were standard and nothing too exciting.
