Maitland Cafe

The food was pretty good. It's more home style cooking. I had the Grilled Cheese Deluxe and the inside was a bit soggy, which made it difficult to eat as the onions and tomatoes were falling out. There were two super thin pieces of bacon in there. The Macaroni Salad was delicious and I could've ate so much of that. The service was quick and direct. Once you place your order, they were call it out so that you can pick it up at counter. It has a hospital cafeteria style to the way it appears. Large windows to look outside and some tables and chairs along the side. This was pretty good and glad I checked it out.

Cute little hidden cafe inside a brown building in the Maitland business district. The address here on Yelp is accurate. It leads you to one building with a 360 parking lot. You can enter through any door and the Cafe is in the middle of the building (there is a small gold plaque on the wall that will say "cafe"). I went on a Wednesday and got their daily special, beef steak on top of jasmine rice. They have different daily specials every day, on top of their every day menu of sandwiches, burgers and salads. Their beef steak was delicious and worth the price. There was a huge crowd in there to my surprise! The owners are very kind and know how to make good food. The only thing I would complain about is that it did take a while for the food to come out, but the owners are trying their best since it's just the two of them running it.

Very reliable and good food for lunch if you work in Maitland. The pork lo mein special is my favorite!

This place is run by a retired chef who is just filling some free time with some thing he has mastered. Great food fast service and surprisingly interesting specials. It's worth finding even though it's not right on the beaten path. I am gluten intolerant, my husband is allergic to milk, and my mother-in-law is allergic to corn; and we were all able to find some thing delicious. Chef even made me the special with corn tortillas when I asked. What are you waiting for?

This cafe is a diamond in the rough! We have gotten breakfast and lunch and have never been disappointed. The Turkey Tuscana soup is the best soup I have ever had and I make soup! All cooked to order when you arrive and the owners are super polite and nice! Sausage and Gravy for breakfast is outstanding along with the Kaiser roll breakfast sammie with bacon... If I could go everyday I would!
