Maguro Sushi

This restaurant is located in one of the plaza surrounding the Florida Mall. It's a Latin Asian fusion sushi restaurant. We were promptly seated after entering, and placed our drink order. They have variety of sushi rolls, appetizers, and drinks on the menu. The interior is well decorated, and they seem to have a side room for groups. My companion started with the Mori Soñando, which is like an orange Creamsicle drink with Boba. It was really good. For rolls, we ordered the Jibaro Soy, Pa' Bravo Yo, and Sake Quemao. The Jibaro Soy is a steak roll with sweet plantain, cream cheese, and avocado. The Pa' Bravo Yo is a like the previous roll but with shrimp tempura instead of steak. The Sake Quemao is like the other two, but topped with smoked salmon. We also got the chicken bao buns. The rolls were fire! I really enjoyed the blend of flavors on each of the rolls. I would rank them in the order I mentioned. I'd recommend this restaurant if you like sushi and Latin food. It's a perfect marriage of the two. I want to return and try their fried rice next.

This was an ideal spot for a date night. Great atmosphere and the colors and theme for Valentine's Day weekend was amazing and unique. We have been waiting to visit this place for over a year and I'm so happy we decided to stop in! Our wait time to sit was pretty quick, but they were pretty short staffed so it took some time to get served.It started with our drinks which was la Guaynabita and the guayacol. Both delicious and sweet cocktails infused with lychee and the other with coconut. Paired that with Salmon and Chicken Bao Buns, and two sushi rolls. Rolls were delicious and both were a beautiful display. We ordered the El Noche in Miami which is a mango and avocado infused roll and the Fuego en el 23 which has spicy tuna and avocado. Parking lot is limited , so be prepared if you decided to stop in!

If I could give just Tate the food, it would be an ABSOLUTE 5 STARS!!!! The food is amazing! The taste of it - wow! Puerto Rican seasoning and spices fused with Asian culinary. They say Latin American flavor, but the menu is flat out mainly PR. The food was delicious, punching taste, savory, and exquisite! You can't go wrong with anything that you order tbh. Your stomach and taste buds will thank you so much! I absolutely loved the fusion of sushi rolls! Especially the plantains one. Man, the food is delicious here! So why three stars? Well, mainly due to lack of service. Upon entering, there were 6 of us. The hostess/waitress, told us to hang out and look at the menu via qsr code. About 10 minutes passed, she asked if we saw the menu and we said yes...?? Then she said ok, your table (which was available since we came in) is over there *points*. I didn't think I was in a diner but a fine dining restaurant especially with the prices I saw. Upon sitting, she also took a while to get to us and when she did, asked us what we wanted to drink and meals. Luckily, the drinks came quickly. The food came at an adequate time as that kitchen was busy. Our waitress only came once to check in on us. She was very attentive to her other three tables that sat after us. Once we finished, it took her A LONG TIME to bring the check to us and it was because she was busy with her other tables closing them out. I could only assume she did this as she would have received an automatically 20% tip being a "large party".This is the reason for the three stars. Poor service & lack of attention. Give. The price of the dishes doesn't reflect the service and mannerisms. The price reflects the decor BUT the kitchen and bathroom location reflects a diner. Would I come back? Probably not. Do I want their sushi? Yes, yes I do lol.

Celebrated a late Valentine's Day dinner here and it was great! We made a reservation at for 8pm and got seated immediately. The staff was very kind and attentive despite it being busy. We started off the night with the guayacol and guayabanita. Both drinks were delicious, the guayacol was a little more thicker, but both were refreshing and great choices. We decided on the noche en Miami and the fuego en el 24 rolls, out of the two the noche in Miami was my favorite, the caramalized mango on top just couldn't be beat, but both were delicious. We also decided on some baos. The salmon bao was good, but I felt like it was missing something and it was a bit fishier than I expected. The chicken bao was great, the onions were such a nice touch, and the sauce complimented it so well! Overall, I had such a great experienced at maguro, I would definitely come back as they have so many yummy options to choose from.

This Latin fusion restaurant is absolutely amazing. I found it by searching Dominican sushi on google and I'm so glad I found this place! I ordered the bori box. It comes with 3 rolls and a side of a spicy crab salad. I chose the tres golpes roll, noche en Miami roll, and the jibaro soy roll. Best choices ever. They were so flavorful and tasty. This meal could be shared between 2 people, as I only ate about half. I also ordered the ropa vieja egg roll and it was so delicious as well. The service was great, the hostess was very nice. The ambiance is nice as well, the outdoor area is great. I definitely recommend. The prices are also great for what you receive and I will be coming back.

Incredible food and very quick service. We came here extremely hungry and they brought us our food in short time. We had a sushi roll, empanadas, cilantro lime rice + pork belly, coconut rice, and ramen. The best one was a tossup between the sushi, cilantro, and coconut rice. Each dish was decadent and insanely flavorful. It was perhaps the best culinary experience we have had in Orlando and shockingly affordable.

I love Hispanic & Sushi fusion food! Maguro would be my top recommended place if someone is interested in Puerto Rican flavors + sushi! The menu is diverse & the ambiance is cute (IG approved). Service was very friendly. It was busy on a random weekday so that just tells your their popularity. I was pretty full with just this box.

I stopped by Maguro for lunch after having this spot recommended to me by a friend. It's near the Florida Mall in the same plaza as another restaurant I had a less than enjoyable experience at, but of course I was going in giving this place the benefit of the doubt. When it comes to overall vibes it's very beautifully decorated on the inside. It's classy yet still casual with some accents of asian culture. We were greeted and sat right away, however it did take a while for someone to take our order, and we did have two other tables that came in after us and got their food before we did. After reviewing the menu I decided to try one of their fusion sushi rolls "El Chulo". I liked the flavor of it a lot but it was mushier than your standard sushi roll so that was kind of off putting. My friend ordered a teriyaki bowl which looked pretty good, so if I were to come back here again I would try that next! If you're not in any hurry, and you're looking to try fusion food this would be an interesting place to try. Otherwise maybe skip this if you're looking to have a quick lunch and go!

The food at Manguro Sushi was delicious! Our favorite was La Kaldachan.We also ordered the Avocado Miso and Krab Escabeche, and they were both fantastic.The service was great and the waiter gave us great suggestions.The place is very chill and they have nice music.

This place never fails!!! The food is amazing so much flavor in every food item! Good selection of Latin infused sushi and tapas! Flew in from Maryland on vacation and had to stop here.
