What an amazing store! Looks like everything in this clean, bright, well lit shop is imported from Germany.Food, dessert, and a seating area to eat it.Snacks, candy, soda, and beer.Who could ask for anything more?Everyone behind the counter is friendly and helpful too.

Poor service. I'm a new downtown local and was not happy. Employees did not greet customers in order and did not accommodate when asked for help.

There was a wide selection of German food and even wines! We bought a few wines. The mead was great; the other wine not so good. They had a lot of chocolates and sweets to tempt any palate. There was a line but it moved quickly. The people were friendly and the store was bright and well laid out!

The sandwhiches were pretty good, gave it a 4 stars because I think they would be better if the bread was toasted and I did ask but the person making the sandwich although very nice told me it wouldn't be a roast beef sandwich toasted. They did bring the food out to the table and like I said the guy who made the sandwich and person who checked me out were nice. The atmosphere is nice we sat outside and the tables and chairs were kept clean. Would reccomend going here!

This place is part of the whole Hollarbach's increasing world in Sanford, whosever, it is separate from the main restaurant. It is around the corner and more resembles a market deli that just happens to sell sandwiches and similar meals. We stopped by here for some sandwiches for lunch and sat outside at one of the few tables they have set up to enjoy the. The place also has some inside eating which appears to be an enjoyable place to eat as well. I ordered the Tiroler, which is a cold Turkey sandwich ion a ciabatta, nicely topped with spinach, Smoked mozzarella don a few other goodies, my wife ordered the Turkey pepper jack on pretzel bun which was actually a tastier sandwich subjectively, but too be fair they were both delicious. For I side I ordered a red skin potato salad that was a perfect partner to the sandwich. At this place, you order at the counter and the crew makes if for you as ordered. YoI highly recommend giving this place a try if you are looking for a German style-deli sandwich - you'll avoid the crowds at the main restaurants and end up with a nice experience too.

Nice small German market! We visit today and they have so many German imported things that it is difficult to make a decision. They have fantastic pastries and you can make your own sandwich German style, also a lot of German beer very awesome! Customer service is very good as everyone ask you if you need anything or offer help with the things in there

Quaint European Market with a lot of German imported products. They have a deli case with sausages, lunchmeats, and cheese. In addition, there is a case with German cakes, pastries snd cookies. There is a variety of German beer and wine too. The only drawback is that it is super ecpensive.

This market is an absolutely gem! We picked up multiple German pretzel mixes, and I would have picked out more items if I could read the labels! While there are usually some German-speaking staff, we were advised that they're usually there earlier in the day. I really appreciated seeing so many items I was unfamiliar with, along with some classic staples like a wall full of gummy bears and mini accordions. If we weren't on our way to dinner, we would have tried some of their imported cheeses and deli sandwiches, but that will just have to wait until our next visit!

I would say that graded for what this placebis trying to be, it does not get any better. It appears to be owned by the same folks who run the Hollerbach restaurant around the corner. This place is way better than some small amount of shelf space at a liquor store or specialty market, the selection of German beer, food, and sweets is extensive. We got cucumber dill salad, corned beef, and potato pancake batter at the well stocked deli.

We were walking Sanford for the first time yesterday before my sons basketball game. On a whim we stopped in the see what was offered in the German market. Such a cute market with a bunch of selection. The sweet treats were amazing and we had to take a closer look. As it happens we were asking what they were when one of the store managers stopped and started explaining what each were. His wife makes the pastry's. He was so nice and helpful. We picked out three items. He set up up with a sample box on the house! That was awesome. So we ate our two desserts while the game was going on. They were awesome. On the way back to Sanford we tried the cake balls dipped in chocolate. There was a coconut and a brandy. Those were amazing!! So glad we were able to try those because honestly we missed them in the case when we were there. We ended up going back for a second time and buying more desserts for later. We also picked up a Father's Day gift for my father-in-law in the wine section. Thank you for the great choices and thank you for spending a moment with us which definitely created extra sales for you and a customer every time we come back to Sanford. We enjoyed the area so much. We plan on coming back again very soon we're only about an hour away. It will be the perfect date-day or night location! Thank you
