Luigi's Pizza

This is quick service + I was surprised how good the pizza was! At least as good as Costco if not better. They also have some Caesar salads + pasta dishes + desserts. A little pricy but park food prices. Cute interior. They do also serve beer + wine. My daughter + I loved it!

This was a decent and kind of fun dining experience at the Simpson's themed food court area at Universal. This was COVID times, so things were a bit different. You were seated by one of the staff and then placed your order at a cash register. Staff would later bring the food to your table rather than you walking to the various counters and ordering like at a typical mall food court. They have all the usual Simpson's favorites in this area like the Frying Dutchman and, the subject of today's review, Luigi's pizza. The interior has a very Simpson's color scheme and TVs are playing episodes of the show (or actually clips I think and not full episodes). Your Universal dining plan will get you a combo here with a personal pizza and your choice of a milkshake or the "Buzz Cola" which is a sugar free cherry cola. I chose the "'meat likers" pizza with the Buzz Cola. It was actually pretty decent. Not amazing but decent. The crust had a chewy texture, and there was a good proportion of meat, cheese, and sauce. I enjoyed the cola which tasted similar to a sugar free cherry Coke Zero. This was overall a decent dining experience and very standard theme park fast food in a fun setting.

Luigis pizza was just OK at best it was expensive because you know you're paying money when you're there. But it was also just average run-of-the-mill pizza. It was pretty much what I expected.

Hidden food court you get to through Duff's. Pizza is decent with the cheese a little bit of a thick consistency but plenty of toppings and fills you up. Not enough seating for big meal times though so you might have to wander outside.

Elaborate Simpsons themed food court. Options include pizza, fried chicken/sandwiches, burgers, fish and chips, or salads. Beat the lunch rush by getting there at 11am or so. Fried chicken really tasted like frozen fried chicken that you buy at a grocery store frozen section along with the pizza is not that much better tasting than frozen pizza either. It is included in the dining plan but the interior doesn't feel very comfortable, actually feels a little dirty even tho they disinfect the table. Overall not a great lunch experience, I think you'd be better off getting a corn dog or tacos at one of the carts or outdoor vendors.

Pizza actually looks great but not very flavorful. If your mind is set on pizza it will give you your fix. Size is about the size of a personal pan pizza from a Pizza Hut.

Luigi's is a cute setup in the Simpsons Fast Food Boulevard at Universal Studios. This may shock you...but they serve pizza! Personal sized pizzas, to be exact. The pizzas are under $10 a pop and they have Meat Lovers, plain cheese and veggie pizza. It isn't the worst pizza ever but it's definitely not the best either. It gets the job done if pizzas on your brain.
