Ok the food, very good. I suggest the carrot soufflé and ribs. Yummy E. The oxtails big and savory. The ribs falls off the bone. Service awesome Very homey! Will definitely come back. Authentic and the chief personable.

Went to Loyd's last night for their fabulous home cooked southern dinner. There were three of us and we tried to sample lots. Appetizer was FriedGreen tomatoes and chicken livers. They were the best I've had since leaving Texas 30 years ago. Miss V was our waitress and kept everything lively. Good natured teasing. Dinners were fried chicken and Citrus beef rib. Ate our fill and brought lots home. Veggies were fresh and cooked to order. Lima beans, carrot soufflé, fried okra, and steak fries. Will definitely be back. Worth the drive from Merritt Island.

Just WOW. The food was absolutely amazing. Loyd really knows how to run a kitchen. He came out to help deliver the food and almost had to write me a ticket for eating too fast . Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, fried green tomatoes, Brussel sprouts, and fried pork chop were all superb. We will be back when in the area!

This place is so amazing. I love it every time. V is the best waitress ever. Ask for her. She will give you the low down on everything and give you new way of eating things. Everything I have had has been good (gizzards, chicken wings, onion rings, etc. The best thing is the Brussel sprouts. Make sure to get plenty of the sauce it comes in. I met the owner and enjoyed talking to him as well. It is quiet but you can tell everyone love it. I'll be back every time I can.

Excellent! Loyd, the owner, helped serve our food and was super friendly. You can see he is proud of his establishment. Fried green tomatoes with hot sauce was great. Mashed potatoes and gravy were surprisingly good. Carrot souffle was different than expected, but good. A little sweet and a little spice (nutmeg?). Family had fried chicken and smothered pork chop, which were great. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Took dessert home, because the portions are big. Space is tastefully cute and comfortable. Visiting from St. Louis and Detroit areas. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Firstly, our server Miss V was PHENOMENAL. Kind, funny, friendly, helpful, accommodating... we will go back for her alone. The food was decent. Fried green tomatoes were great and the appetizer size was a huge portion and great price. Catfish was cooked well and the shrimp were nice and big. Mac and cheese was disappointing but it may have been an off night. Smothered pork chops had promise but not great. We will go back and try the food again.
