Lovebird - Almost Famous Chicken

Whyyyy has it taken me so long to try this place?!! It's amazing!!! I've long since avoided the Lakeland location simply due to the crazy parking lot. But the Winter Haven location is where it's at! It's so cute inside. Pink everywhere! Head to counter, order, and they'll call your name when it's ready. Sit inside or on the patio. The chicken is.... Holy moly good! I've been a couple of times now, and between the two times and the family's choices we've had the tenders meal, the small white meal (bone in fried chicken) and the little meal called "My Girl Ain't Hungry". Grilled chicken or crispy, it's all great! The mac and cheese is amazing. The fries are great. The sauces are amazing (that bird sauce!) Get your chicken seasoned how you like it. There's nothing to dislike. All I know is if they had a drive through, I'd be in big trouble.

We were in the area and decided to give this new establishment a try due to a recommendation from a friend. I have to admit that I didn't have high expectation but I was proven wrong.The decor was entertaining to say the lest. Once we ordered at the counter, the food came out fresh and hot. My wife ordered the vegetable plate consisting of collard greens, jalapeño corn, slaw and fries. Everything was seasoned nicely.I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. You can choose your level of heat. I chose medium and could have gone hotter. The bleu cheese on the sandwich was chunky and the chicken was well seasoned. There was no way that I could pick it up so I had to eat it with a fork and knife. I really enjoyed it.They have a good selection of beer to accompany your meal.The only reason that I didn't give a five star review is because I was told that it was the best fried chicken ever. Being from the south I have had better.

I want to go back and have a meal here...This review is based solely on the dessert Had the banana pudding:The banana pudding was very good...on top of the banana pudding was some type of mousse (that may have been flavored banana) this too was pretty good ...the problem was these two didn't go well paired together We will come back and try a meal (and maybe the peach cobbler)

Finally got to try this place since it's always super packed!! Soo yummy! I had the Big Velvet with fries, got the Bird Sauce to dip the fries in! (thank me later) My friend got some strips with a side of their So Gouda Mac, she loved it. I tried the Mac and it was delicious. I had their Passion Fruit Pineapple Excelsior cider which had the perfect tartness and very refreshing. Wait staff were friendly and food came out quickly. The decor is cute, pink everywhere. Will definitely go back!

Everything! Service was great! Cashier was very pleasant and friendly. I love how the restaurant is decorated. The music is playing. They have items to sell such as if t -shirts, stickers, baseball hats!! You can sit inside and outside.

Ive heard how good this place was so I decided to give it a try. The chicken seemed to be fried in old oil, however the meat was juicy and tender. The sides I chose - mac and cheese & collard greens were not it, in my opinion. I guess its cause of the pimento cheese in the mac? Im not a fan. It tasted very fake - like fake cheese. The collard greens tasted dirty? My partner ordered "that bama chick" sandwich & he took one bite and didn't finish the rest. However, the service and vibes were great!

The decor inside is so trendy! Music is a little loud but good tunes. Lady at register was nice and answered all my questions about the spice levels. Chicken was so tender and giant, gouda mac was delicious breadcrumbs really added texture, and the ranch was drinkable lol.

This is a new location, with the other one in Lakeland. The line was so long to order food, it's a popular place. Order at the counter and they bring it out. The decor is fun and clever. Chicken sandwich looks amazing but I just had a banana pudding that was decent. Pepsi products.

Love this place and so glad they opened in WH. The line takes awhile, but has lessened since they first opened. I've tried multiple sandwiches and they were all excellent but the Nashville is my favorite. I feel like you can't go wrong with the sandwiches. I have not tried the salads or regular entrees. The dirty fries are really good too. The best thing is that the serving is huge, so come hungry! Yes, they are saucy and messy, but it makes it more delicious. I hate it when restaurants skimp on the sauce. Cool vibe inside and friendly service.

So I got the bird in bee, so Gouda Mac and peach cobbler. This was all to go. No problem with the meal. the dessert was a disaster though I am almost certain that they gave me raw peach cobbler it was very runny I took a couple of bites decided I wasn't going to eat anymore. A few moments later.....spent a few hours in the bathroom sick. Really need to make sure your stuff's cooked through...Update: I ended up cooking that runny cobbler (next day) so that it was more solid like it was supposed to be and ate it with no issues next day. So I was served raw peach cobbler.
