Love Bird's Jerk Spot

I was in the mood for some Jamaican food on my way home from work so I looked up places and Love Bird Jerk Spot came up . Once I arrived it wasn't too busy it was one couple eating & me. I ordered a jerk meal my sides were plantain and Rice and it also came with a salad. They also offer small express plates for chicken menu items so I ordered brown stew chicken . The service was quick , by the time I came out the restroom by my order was ready. The jerk pieces I got were good but kinda tiny. I got full mainly from rice. The brown stew chicken had no gravy at all on it, which I didn't realize till I was home. It did taste good but didn't come off as what I'm used to for brown stew chicken. The ambiance was small and personable and the customer service was great the young lady who took my order was very nice and helpful. I would come back again and try something else.

Really good jerk. Smoky, fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.They're generous with the portions and the sides are healthy. They even gave me breadfruit with my jerk!

We had such a great experience with Jamaican food in Key West that we decided to find some Jerk Chicken on our trip in Orlando. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be that many options in Orlando, though this one came up on our search and looked promising because they also offer a variety of fish dishes.The restaurant is not large, with just a few tables, and we were there on a Saturday night and there was only one dad and his son there eating at a table. A couple other patrons were sitting at the bar. There was a DJ playing thumping Jamaican music and the speakers were HUGE. Maybe the place comes alive during the late hours, so if this clubby feel is your vibe, definitely drop by late and see what's going on. Anyway, with the music blasting, we definitely had to do takeout instead. We ordered two jerk chickens, a small order of jerk pork, and wanted recommendations on some crispy fried fish. They offered to fry two red snappers. Check out the photos, the fish was absolutely amazingly cooked. Tender on the inside, and crispy skin on the outside. Seasoned lightly but very flavorful. The veggies are a combination of onions and habanero peppers, and it is very very spicy. We are accustomed to insanely spicy food, but this is definitely not something normal people would be able to stand. The lady taking our order warned us that it was very hot and put the veggies on the side instead of on top for our benefit. We appreciate the gesture. The jerk chicken was pretty good! Not magical but definitely scratched our itch very very well. It was tender, right amount of char, and very flavorful. We ate it all and licked the bones. Om nom nom.The jerk pork was excellent. I only bought an express box, which is a small 5 dollar order. It was sooooo flavorful. I could eat it all day. I'd be fat as heck, but happy. This would make a great topping over some salad greens.In all, I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant if you are hungry for some Jamaican food. The people are warm and welcoming, and the food tastes great. Oh and price was very reasonable. Unfortunately I did not take a picture of the menu board, but I think it was 11 dollars for the large order of half a jerk chicken with stir fried veggies and a ton of rice. The made-to-order fish was 16, again very reasonable. We are looking forward to go back next time we visit Orlando.

Let me start by saying how clean it is inside, and the service was quite excellent! Food was even better, we got the jerk chicken, curry goat and fry chicken with curry goat gravy and everything was top tier! We would highly recommend you giving this spot a chance! We don't have pictures of the food because we ate it all down so fast We will be back for sure!

We came for oxtails got a big thing of beans an rice they put salad in the tray with the hot food I had three tiny oxtails for $25!! Not even full meat will never buy again! First an worst experience!!
