Los Mondragon Mexican Restaurant

The restaurant is new and very clean. They provide you chips and salsa upon arrival, and the green salsa was very good. I ordered a quesadilla and chile relleno and both were excellent.

What a hidden gem of a spot! Small mom and pop restaurant but with grandma doing all the cooking. As soon as I walked in the fragrances and aromas from the kitchen immediately made me think of my grandma and her food. Ordered 6 tacos...2 chorizo, 2 carnitas, 1 pastor and 1 chicharon plus a side of beans. Muy muy rico! Very very delicious. So much so I ordered 2 more tacos. Also had the agua fresca hibiscus or "Jamaica" in Spanish...not overly sweet and perfect for the slightly spicy salsa. Powerful flavors and great experience. Will definitely be a regular here and will be trying as much of the food here as possible.

This is a small family owned Mexican restaurant. it's very casual but professional and delicious. We were served some freshly made chips with two different kinds of salsa One was an herb based salsa and the other was what I assume was habanero because it was so fruity and orange I asked the young lady what it was and she said she didn't know because her grandma makes a different one every week it was so good. She sent me home with a couple to go salsas. I love the open kitchen concept and they've done a great job with renovations and decorations . I can't really say it's authentic because I don't really know what that would be like. However, I can say it is not your typical Mexican restaurant food. My husband and I both had the quesadillas. They were delicious. Not too greasy and not smothered sauce. But they tasted herbaceous and fresh. If there was any negative, I would say it's because when we ordered water, we paid for two bottles of water. I don't know why they just can't pour water from a pitcher or the tap.

Went for lunch..15 minutes to even get acknowledged. Got both of our orders wrong. Only one lady doing everything and she spoke Spanish as her first language so there was a communication issue. Food was greasy and wrong. I wanted chicken quesadilla and got pork tacos. We ordered a burrito with pork and got some corn tortilla with beef.. none of it was good.

Great food and atmosphere!! Service was wonderful! It was very authentic. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing restaurant, owners were very nice, the food amazing and authentic very well recommended.

Had the carnitas, chicken, and carne asada sopes which were really good and tasty. Will be coming back to try more.

This retaurant is as authentic as any in the Orlando area. I have been here several times and the quality and taste of the food is absolutely excellent. The flavor is superb, and the price and quantity is incredible. The quesadilla was delicious, and easily the best I have ever had! The owners are kind and courteous and very attentive. It is clear their food is important to them!! I will keep referring people to them, and will be back many times!! I'd give it 6 stars if I could!
