Longwood Country Kitchen

At first glance, this place looks a bit sketchy, but they have a great breakfast and house made sausage gravy. My husband, son, and I were in the area and we wanted breakfast, so we stopped in to grab a bite. It was our first time eating here and the service and food were both great. My husband started with coffee, my son had chocolate milk, and I had water. I splity breakfast with my son and we got the Country Kitchen 222 with pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage and I added a cup of fruit. Everything was cooked appropriately and the pancakes were so big that they took up the whole plate. My husband got the gravy dream omelette with grits and a biscuit. The house made sausage gravy had great flavor and paired well with the potato filled omelette. The grits were good. The biscuit was as tall as two biscuits stacked together. We had a good experience here and for the just under $30 before tax and top it was affordable.Rating from F to A+++, I give it an A++.

Country Kitchen is an all-around good place for simple, home-type cooking in Longwood, Florida.Country Cooking is located in a shopping plaza so parking is not really an issue. It is a simple ambiance, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. There is nothing fancy about the food offered at Country Kitchen and the ambiance matches the food offered.The service here was friendly and professional and I would say that the service only enhanced my overall experience. I would definitely recommend Country Kitchen.

This is a "like" but not "love" the experience.Bigger on the inside than expected based on the parking situation. Incredibly friendly staff. Special call out to Donna. It's clean and comfortable. I chose the breakfast bar for today. Coffee is freshly ground from beans. These folks go through coffee on par with a Starbucks kiosk. Coffee is good.I had an omelette with everything minus the chef's hair. I suspect if I asked for it, Donna would have accommodated. In all, I felt like there was too much going on in the omelette. I should have gone with another option.I also wanted to try the biscuits and sausage gravy. I have a flavor profile in mind. Both the biscuit and gravy were disappointing. I'll be back to explore more items on the menu. But I honestly was hoping for both a better biscuit and gravy experience.

This is definitely a whole in the wall gem. They had turkey bacon nicely crisp and crunchy. Fench toast was cooked all the way through. Over hard eggs with a little butter salt and pepper. I was all set for my brunch. The staff was nice and felt like family. The decor was race car themed with classic car pictures and famous race car drivers.

Longwood Country Kitchen exceeded expectations! The prices were incredibly reasonable, offering large portions that satisfied our appetite. The staff was not only friendly but exceptionally welcoming. I highly recommend this diner for its affordable prices, generous portions, and delightful service. A great dining experience overall!

We love coming here and we drive from apopka for their yummy breakfast and amazing service!Small place with great food ! Don't have to deal with inpatient customers waiting on table or food orders.. SUPPORT LOCAL delish yummy food! Kudos to all and specially back of the house..

My husband and I stopped here just for a little something different. Wow! The food was really good and the prices were amazing! We ordered specials written on the board. I got a BLT with french fries, and my husband got the black and blue burger with fries. Both of us ordered the sweetest tea east of the Mississippi. The restaurant was full of regulars kibitzing with the staff, which was fun to listen to. Our entire check was less than $20. Can you even imagine?My only disappointment is that we just now discovered this place after driving by it for many years.

Friendly, capable and swift service:) There prices are very reasonable and food is fresh and prepared well. I also enjoy the warm, congenial neighborhood vibe because of the many local repeat customers.

The food is just okay. Not disappointing but just what you'd expect for the price. A good place for a cheap & quick lunch. Employees were respectful to customers however one server in particular was not being nice to another. I felt bad for her..
