Longboard Bar & Grill

Longboard Bar and Grill is located in the water park outside at The Grove resort. The menu seems promising with food fit for a variety of consumers. Food took a while to come out. Fries were pretty tasty and had a nice texture that had a slight crisp but soft on the inside and wasn't too soggy or hard. Chicken tenders were chewy and dry but the flavor was fine. The hummus and guac were underwhelming but weren't awful. The fish tacos were okay but overdressed which made it soggy. The chips were salted nicely and the drinks were flavorful, well made, and refreshing. It's not bad for an outdoor bar/grill for a waterpark. It got the job done but could be better.

Food was just awful.. service was ok.. The wings were so dry that they were hard to tell were the meat ended and the bone started. They were super drenched in a pool of sauce. The brisket sliders were overpowered by the amount of pepper in the meat and the meat itself was super dry..almost inedible.The saving grace was the friendly lady at the bat but it is hard to overcome the highly priced food..

The longboard bar and grill is located inside the grove resort Orlando in the surfari water park. It's across the flow rider. It's really cool because you can see people get on the flow rider and catch some cool waves.It has a nice, big bar with plenty of seats and tvs. The restaurant looks very new and modern. They also have lots of high tops inside the covered shelter. There is open air seating as well by the pool.We sat at the bar and had a few drinks and some food. I had the lazy river lemonade and it was delicious. My husband had a kettle one vodka with some cucumber and mint. They also had a variety of beer on tap including, Big Wave Lager and Kahuna Ale. My husband and I shared the pork tacos with fries. The order brings two tacos. The tacos were very tasty and the pork was fresh. The bartender was really courteous and helpful.

We love the pork tacos here! The staff is very nice and the ambiance cool like we were in the Caribbean. Came back to Longboard for lunch several times during our stay.

The bartenders are helpful and the drinks are refreshing. However, the management, especially Dan is a complete a-hole. Apparently he has a problem with anybody who is not an american citizen. This is especially funny when you take in consideration that he is australian. When he caught a glimpse of the ID i used (which was a european union driver's license fully usable and acceptable in the states) he made a huge deal about it and I was told that it is illegal what i'm doing. Mind you, I used the same ID to sign off on liability forms and health insurance at the same resort for the Flowrider simulator. This really ruined the mood and the experience for me and my family here at the Grove. NEVER will we be coming back to the Longboard. Was left feeling like a criminal
