Lombard's Seafood Grille

5 stars for Lombard's Seafood Grille.This may be the best (or one of the best) dine in, sit down restaurants on Universal Orlando Resort's properties. Dare I say, even better than Mytho's? The decor inside the restaurant is beautiful, so many ponds, fountains and fish tanks, it's like you're actually onboard a ship. Our waitress was very friendly. I had the lobster roll sandwich - absolutely phenomenal - very delicious and a lot of flavor. I also tried the edamame appetizer which is a really big portion and tasty as well. I'd highly recommend dining in at Lombard's if you're at Universal Orlando and want seafood with a sit down restaurant experience at a theme park.

Wife ordered the Sausalito grilled chicken sandwich. Presentation was really nice, but the chicken was super dry. Made it quite tough to eat. We enjoyed the fries though.I ordered the vegan pasta and the presentation again was really nice, but the serving size was quite small for the price. I was still very hungry after finishing this plate.

I haven't been in 9+ years apparently! Finally back. How does it stack up?First, it's great to have a quiet, air conditioned, and sit down meal at the park. That alone makes this place worth it. Service is top notch as well. I got the New England clam chowder to start. Plenty of clams and potatoes in a creamy broth. It wasn't smokey or bacon-y which may or may not be a good thing. But it was a solid cup of chowder.My meal was the Fisherman's Basket with fried cod, shrimp, scallops, and calamari. Plus a side of slaw, fries, tartar and cocktail sauce. From best to worst. They get their cod in fresh, not frozen. Wow, it's so buttery. Perfect light fry on it. Delicious with some cocktail sauce. They really should have fish and chips on the menu. Next were 2 jumbo shrimp. Should have been 3 but they were great. Perfectly cooked. Great with the cocktail sauce. I don't really like calamari but theirs was soft and clean. Very nice indeed. Next was the slaw. I think it had some broccoli in it, was a bit tangy, and a nice contrast to the fried food. The cocktail sauce had just a bit of horseradish in it. It was nice but I wish it were more potent. The tartar was creamy and fine for dipping. The fries were fries but with some malt vinegar and cocktail sauce they were good. The scallops terrible. They were microscopic bay scallops the size of a pencil eraser. Seriously, if they aren't going to give 2 jumbo scallops, there's no point in having them on the plate.Overall I really enjoyed the meal. Mostly highs but the terrible scallops and ok sauces kept this from being a 5/5 for a theme park meal.

Our server was Tammy, and her customer service was top tier! She was very polite and friendly and patient even when a cup of water was accidentally spilled! We tried the lobster bisque soup which tasted extremely salty; more like a tub of old bay seasoning was thrown in and made the soup brown instead of the color it should be, light pink. We then ordered the ocean bowl which had the same base soup that the lobster bisque has. It was extremely salty and over seasoned. The ambiance was very comfortable and the restaurant itself was decorated beautifully, as if you were in Italy.

Don't be fooled by a sit down restaurant in a theme park! The staff is super friendly and the fish and chips were sooooooo good! Definitely stop in, cool off, and enjoy a delicious meal here!

The decor reminded me of a favorite restaurant of mine-Commanders Palace in New Orleans. Our server was excellent. He was kind, effective, quick and didn't miss a thing. Food wise it was the best meal on Universal property in 3 days. I loved the shrimp bayou, my sons enjoyed the fisherman's basket and their burger was one of the best I've tasted in a very long time. Artichoke dip was solid. The only miss was my wife's lobster bisque. She didn't care for it and I tried it. The heavier tomato base is one thing and subject to individual preferences but the absolute "fishy" taste of the lobster bisque was not acceptable. That being said everything else was so superior that it warrants a full 5 star review. Not perfect but as close as one can hope for at any theme park.

Did the ride and dine for Mardi Gras. The spinach artichoke dip and lobster bisque were good but the sushi and crab cake were not. Three ordered steaks which were ALL undercooked and grizzly and came with three measly asparagus spears. Shrimp Alfredo was ok. Server was attentive but the food took a really long time to arrive.

I came in with my family of 7 for lunch one afternoon. We did not have a long wait. The food was good but way overpriced for what we got. The restaurant has a nice aesthetic.

We don't normally get lunch at the parks, but are so happy we stopped at this place. Service was impeccable - our waiter recommended dishes really well, accommodated our dietary needs so thoughtfully (and preemptively asked about things), and even found us a spot to pray. The vegan pasta was AMAZING and I highly recommend it for everyone. Great serving sizes. There was a bit of a wait to get a table, but we were able to walk around and come back. Overall great experience.

Made reservations through the universal app which was pretty easy. Of course the price was a bit pricy for some things but its in a theme park. You get whsy you expect. Our waitress was nice. French onion soup was good. Spinach and artichoke dip were my favorite. Not too salty or anything!
