Loading Zone Philly Steaks

When this place opened up. I was excited because I heard good things about them at the downtown location. Unfortunately, I wish I can say the same. I tried the Philly cheesesteak on both occasions and I feel that something is off. On the first trip, I felt that the bread seems doughy and the meat to cheese ratio is off where there was too much cheese. The steak was chewy and different have must flavor that I'm used of tasting from a cheesesteak. In trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and believing that the experience was a bit off since this was carry out order and I didn't eat it right away, I decided to wait a bit before trying this place again. On the second trip, I ordered the same thing and paid extra to make it a hoagie (adding lettuce and tomatoes). I must say that I feel some kind a way about having to order extra for lettuce and tomatoes, but that was the choice I made. Instead of waiting, I decided to take a bite immediately when I got to my car. The bread was still too doughy for my liking and i feel there was too much cheese to make the sandwich too chewy. I tasted the meat separately and found the flavor lacking. In the end, I tossed the rest of the sandwich in the trash.So, I tried this place a couple of times and can't say I would go back for a third trip.

We stopped by here around 130 PM. A little late in the lunch hour- unfortunately the restaurant was empty. The two fellas working looked as if they were doing busy work. After eating, I'm confused why they were so lonely in there? I had a mushroom cheesesteak. My mother had the a regular cheesesteak, my son had a buffalo sauce flavored cheesesteak. All of us agreed that these were some of the best Philly cheesesteaks we've had since visiting Philly a few years ago. The buns were soft and they were heavy with filling. And the fries - nice and hot and crispy. My dad got a smash burger. He declared two bites in that this was his new favorite place to get a burger. It was cooked perfectly and not overwhelming with fat and grease - just perfect. The place is covered in traffic signs and license plates from all over, a true big city feel in the middle of central Florida's suburbs. The guys (sorry didn't get their names) were on top of everything and extremely patient with two of the four people in our party who can't hear for the life of us and another person who takes way too long to choose lol. We shall return.

Order made completely wrong and keep in mind I was the only customer there. Cheese steak has no peppers or onions also no whiz cheese as a requested.

Best Philly steak in Orlando, ate half before I even got home! Great bread, hot food, delicious sweet peppers and onions with white American and cheesewhiz!!

Went here with my wife and friends. Very clean location, small but with adequate seating. My wife and I both had the standard Philly with cheese and onions and shared an order of the tater tots. Service was friendly and prompt. The sandwich was excellent, fresh bread and meat. The tots and sandwich were cooked exceptionally well, but a bit overseasoned with salt. Depending on your palette, the salt could be a bit much. It was for me and some others we were with, but some enjoyed that much salt. I would go back and just ask for light seasoning next time.

Solid choice for cheesesteaks. The mozzarella sticks were perfect too. Definitely be back

A good Philly if you're in the area with a craving. I love Philly Cheesesteaks and often have a craving, so I was glad to stumble upon this place while working in the area. Worth a stop in. They also have wings

Solid cheesesteaks and fries. I wouldn't say it has a super *authentic* Philly cheesesteak flavor like Cavo's or Laspadas, but the flavor is unique and very good in its own right. The bread in particular is wonderful...so soft and just the right chew. Not sure what people are talking about stale bread, maybe it can be inconsistent. However, I've been here 4 times and it's been very good every time. The fries are not mindblowing, but they are nice and crispy. Definitely nothing to complain about. A solid 4 stars for this restaurant.

Please read this review before you enter this establishment! You're better off staying home and heating up some frozen fries from the freezer section of Walmart and buying some stale bread to make your own Philly. This place is awful and the price tag of $15 for a small sandwich and yucky fries was insane!!! Utterly disappointing and will never go back. We will just keep going to Tuscany Pizza next door which has the best pizza ever and never disappoints. At least make the bread soft guys this was awful.

Philly cheese steak sandwich. Too expensive for what you get. Debt card reader asking for tip. You lost me :(
