Amazing Cuban food! Reminds me of my grandmother's, aunts and mom. This is not only authentic, but also delicious. Daily specials are off the charts!

Food is good here but Cuban sandwich lacks. The Cuban sandwich felt very skimpy barely any pulled pork in it.

Hankering for a Cuban sandwich, I checked Yelp plus co-workers and distance from work and decided upon Lo Mejor.What struck me first was how busy the restaurant known for its authentic Cuban food was on Tuesday lunchtime. People sitting outside, people eating and waiting for food inside and a steady stream of customers entering to pick up of their call ahead orders were a bonus for any people watchers that day. Based on my observations, many people appeared to be repeat customers who love their food. So much for the atmosphere, the Cuban sandwich was fresh - hot off the press - and tasty. I'm a Cuban sandwich novice so no subtleties from me. Suffice to say, the sandwich hit the spot. Based on my experience this day and other Yelp reviews, this place really is worth the stop. One item I'd love to try next time due to rave reviews - café con leche!

I love making black beans. I grew up in Miami, and I feel I can throw down with the best of the abuelas. This place had excellent black beans and I almost never enjoy them in restaurants. .The ropa vieja was also excellent. Many places don't do this right either, so I was happy to find a good ropa vieja.The Steak with Chimichurri was basically a palomilla or minute steak. The problem was that it was overcooked, tasted more like a 10 minute steak. The tostones tasted like they had been sitting out. My wife received her food shortly after I received my food, she had fresh tostones! I'm guess I had the old batch. Or maybe it was a preference because she's Cuban! I don't know, I'm glad she had the good ones, because she usually give me most of her tostones.One huge tip is to ask for the green sauce to be on the side. The tostones ended up soggy with the green sauce on top. They also have plastic silverware and paper plates. I like it, it felt like a family party down in Miami. I could have done 3 stars, but I will just stick to the Ropa Vieja next time.

Delicious food always! The Cubans are delicious as is the tops vieja (Tuesday and saturdays) daily special.

YES! You want to eat here. Do it. We got the Saturday special. Shredded beef with soooo much flavor. "Brown" rice, it's mixed with black beans and soo flavorful. Comes with sweet plantains-you guesses it, soooo good. (Someone else ordered the special with white rice and it came with soupy black beans instead of plantains, also looked delicious.)Also ordered the Cuban sandwich. It's a good sandwich but I would highly recommend going with the daily specials because of all the flavor. The ladies working were very kind!

Local Cuban cafe shop. Amazing atmosphere and great food. I'm definitely coming back. Customer service is great as well

I went there today the sandwish was not good it was made diferent from others day I didn't like the bread and it wasn't flat at all it looks like the bread wasn't cuban if they continue making it like that never again
