Lisbon Portuguese Restaurant

Having grown up in New England, this was a taste of home. The octopus was tender and flavorful. Pastel de Natas were perfect. Definitely worth the visit!

Been meaning to review this spot for sometime it's my wife and myself's favorite Portuguese restaurant, gorgeous, cozy, and a little taste of home, on entry we were told that it's about a 10 to 15 minute wait, no worries, was sat in 10 minutes immediately approached by the server given menus, cocktail order taken, and drinks served in five minutes, upon delivery the waitress immediately grabbed that appetizer order, Green soup with Chorizo and little neck clams in a white wine garlic sauce, bread was delivered shortly after drinks appetizers arrived in 10 minutes, appetizers wonderful, hot flavorful absolutely delicious! Looking around the dining room I noticed that the restaurant is at 100% capacity and they are busy, but the service has been on point flawless, main courses arrived in 12 to 15 minutes after the appetizers, I had the beef steak Portuguesa and the wife had the pork sandwich with fries. Truth be told while the steak was cooked perfectly it was terribly under seasoned with gristle veins and Fat, just a bad cut of meat, it happens however the experience was great and I highly recommend we had dessert to go because we were on time constraints. The waitress efficiently took care of us and we will be back! check this place out. You won't be disappointed. I have spoken...

Extraordinary service.We had dinner at Domu, and found ourselves looking for a nice dessert option afterwards. The staff were so nice, going as far as to place a tablecloth, even though our order was very small. Lots of smiles, and very warm service. The actual dessert was very tasty as well. It did not feel 100% authentic compared to what we had in Portugal, but there was 25% more filling and the desserts came warm, which was very nice. The ones in Portugal are smaller and crispier. Flakier and less filling. Perhaps this was made for the larger American audience?I would definitely come back!

We come from a Portuguese family and every time we want to have the good tastes from Portugal , Lisbon is where we go. The food is amazing! They serve some bread with butter . As appetizer we always order Pastéis de Bacalhau (Salted codfish fritters) and for desert Pastel de Belém, of course. The staff is friendly and the environment is cozy. This is the only Portuguese restaurant we have in Orlando and it's very good.

Back in Jersey I ate Portuguese food often, here in Orlando it's harder to find. This restaurant is a hidden gem. The bread wasn't the thick crusty loaves that I'm used to in Portuguese restaurants, but they were chewy and flavorful none the less. The garlic shrimp was good but I would prefer it without the tails. I had the chef's shrimp which was very similar to the garlic shrimp and came with plain white rice and fries. We also had seafood rice which was very much a tomato based paella and they substituted extra shrimp when my husband didn't want squid or octopus. There's a lot of salted codfish on the menu, and my friend tried and enjoyed one of those dishes. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the waitress was fabulous. We enjoyed our meal, but we're definitely still on the hunt for a paella closer to the ones we are in Jersey.

Had an amazing dinner here. Service was very Friendly and attentive. The the garlic shrimp and the octopus lagerio. A great place to have dinner. I highly recommend it.

TL;DR: food was okay, drinks were good, service was very friendly and helpful, very pleasant atmosphere, plenty of parking.The atmosphere here was beautiful and reminded me of the Mediterranean. It's not a huge place, but there's plenty of seating. The staff were very kind and helpful. We had a minor mixup with our drink order in that we ordered the Porto Tonic cocktail and at first we got Porto Tawny (a port wine). However, the server was very responsive when we asked her about it and brought out what we meant to order very quickly.As for the food-- it was okay. Nothing to write home about. The octopus and calamari dish was pretty good. We liked the calamari pieces, but the octopus was way too chewy. The lamb was a little dry and did not come medium rare; more like Medium+. The bacalhaus (salted cod) dish was okay. It wasn't great, and didn't have much flavor. The bacalhaus also did not reheat well (which I obviously don't blame the restaurant for). The dessert pastries we got were excellent though (and sadly I don't remember what they were called, as I didn't order them). The espresso was also very good.I'd consider returning here to try something else, but was not impressed with our first time here.

A Great afternoon with friends. Lisbon have a great ambiance with good service, the food is good and we love the green wine that is one of the best things that Portugal have to offer. The prices where a little bit high but the quality of the food was the best.Una gran tarde con amigos. Lisboa tiene un gran ambiente con buen servicio, la comida es buena y nos encanta el vino verde que es una de las mejores cosas que Portugal tiene para ofrecer. Los precios un poco altos pero la calidad de la comida fue la mejor

Our Uber driver Debbie suggested this restaurant and it didn't disappoint! We had never eaten Portuguese food and we can honestly say this was a fantastic experience!!! From some wonderful Portuguese red wine, to unique appetizer and steaks, to positively amazing traditional Portuguese desserts. Skip the typical chain restaurants and opt for a different dining experience with super service!

I love the food and until last week the service. I've been there several times and it's on our family's favorite list. I called them early on New Year's Eve to check if they would be open. The manager told me that yes and that I didn't need to make a reservation for dinner. We live almost 1 hour away and after we got there the waiter told us that we couldn't sit because it was by reservation only. I mentioned about my call earlier but they said: we meant to say that they we were booked. They weren't willing to make accommodations for us. Thankfully Luke's Kitchen was open and sat us down without a wait. We had a great time.
