Lelo's BBQ Puerto Rican Cuisine

Came for an early dinner was able to order ahead. The lady did inform me that they only take orders ahead before 5 PM due to them getting busy.We did get the family meal deal with the chicken. It was delicious. Parking can be kind of tough because it's in a shared shopping mall with limited space It's a casual restaurant would be nice to go to friends family small get-togethers. The lady did inform me they do offer catering for company with a one week notice.

I went to this location on a Thursday night after 6 o'clock they were so busy a lot of people were waiting for their chicken. The customer service was great. The young lady who helped us made sure we knew all the options and gave us time. There was no rush this place is a local gem , definitely casual, kinda like the southern meat three but in the Latin Way will return to try earlier in the day. Hopefully we won't wait for long.

Puerto Rican food done right and located in Florida. The servers were fast and very polite. It is so a relaxed ambiance here. The chicken soup is spot on!The rib meal fall off the bone. The pulled pork was cooked just right. Do yourself a solid and partake for yourself.

Whenever you go to Lelo's, you know it's gonna be great food at a steal of a deal with little wait! We had a huge party come in with us and they were able to accommodate us all! Will happily be back again and again! :) ( Don't sleep on the Plantains or the Rice & Beans)

I have ordered door dash and been to the place so many times I can't count. There has been times everything is spot on and then there have been times it's not. The owners are normally working which tells me they care a lot about the place. It's normally clean but busy, plenty to choose from as in dishes and my go to is the yellow rice with chicken or the yucca mofongo with shrimp in tomatoes sauce or plantain mofongo stuffed with stew chicken. They have cuajito which I love with white rice. Not feeling their tostones or amarillos Sometimes it can be salty depends on the cook.

Quick service and very tasty food. We did not know what all the dishes were but everything we tried was delicious.

I have been coming here since I was a teenager. I love this place, they are consistently good! I don't believe there is something you could order here and regret it. Everything I've ordered has been delicious and authentic! My favorite thing to order is the yellow rice, pernil, beans, and the maduros. The chicken and yucca here is really good as well.I can't recommend this place enough. Huge portions, good prices, and amazing food. I order from here almost every week! Best Puerto Rican food I've had in florida.

Great Authentic Hispanic Food!I really love Lelo's because my grandparents only eat Hispanic food and it's one of the only places they like take out form because everything tastes homemade. Their yellow rice is AMAZING! It's so good by far one of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend their rotisserie chicken (pollo asado) they cook it fresh on the rotisserie and you can get full, half or quarter chicken. The chicken falls off the bone, it's great. Their mofongo is very authentic and delicious. We really like their al ajillo. They also have fried fish on the restaurant side which is really good. The ambiance is very laid back and relaxed. You can either eat there or take it to go. Lelo's is pretty packed for the most part during meal times so it can be hard to find a table. Most of the staff speaks Spanish and English.

Consistent! Lelo's is the best Puerto Rican food in the area. Their service and taste is always consistent. This is evident by the long lines at any given time. We are blessed to have Lelo's in our community.

Could be better , it's good because there's really no other option this type style of food and steam tables. usually good but went on a Saturday day evening a huge line waited 30 mins and they didn't even have half the sides only had rice and beans , no soup no chicken and had to wait an additional 35 Minutes for a chicken meal. No ribs No rice no fries ran out of rice and only pinto beans. . Yea it was busy and nice people but the lady we had litterally rolled her eyes because she offered us the pork we didn't want pork we wanted chicken. It's crazy busy but kind of hectic and a little unorganized probably not use to this heavy crowd. So if you got a meal had to wait an hour and really no side choices was not worth the cost. And parking was rough had to drive around several times and was not worth it this trip. Maybe next time during a non busy dayI liked the other option in DeLand but they closed. And while waiting for our food they had a container of meat that someone didn't pick up who knows how long it sat and they emptied it back into the steam table pan of meat and stirred it all back in to the meat.
