Best Empanadas in Town

I found this pizza spot using my trusty yelp app while looking for something to eat next to our hotel. WOW! I love this place. It was getting late so we order the food to go. In 20 mins I had an Argentina Pan pizza in a box steaming to go. This pizza was delicious and only $12 to boot. I wish I could of tried some empanadas and wine; but maybe next time. The decor inside was really pretty and there were a few tables being occupied with customers enjoying there tapas.

Empanadas are what seem to be the big hit here. I'd give another try at one of the many variations. From the beef to the ham and cheese style, they have about 15 to choose from. Pizza certainly looked furfilling. I really enjoyed the lasagna with a few garlic knots. Inside it's just a comfortable mom and pop joint that you can tell the owner(s) really dedicated themselves to. I'd come back again.

What a wonderful find today! My colleague and I were just down the street at the Health Department for some meetings and wanted something tasty for lunch. So glad we came here! The empanadas were amazing! As good as I remember them being when I took a 3 week trip to South America! I had 3 empanadas: spinach, capresse, and beef. The beef was exactly what I ate over and over in Argentina, so delicious. The capresse was my favorite of the 3.Stop debating, just stop in already!

Awesome place with a chill atmosphere. You can see it was thoughtfully decorated. The owners are super friendly and attentive. The food is fantastic. The menu is so varied and there's some really cool pizza and empanada options (where did you ever get a caprese empanada?). Oh, and they are to die for! They also have authentic Argentinian pastries that are delish. Don't even get me started on the pasta and freshly baked rolls (pictured)! It's like dining 3 star food for a fast food price, and without the stuffy waiter. If you like mom-and-pop eateries with real authentic and tasty food, you can't go wrong with La Argentina!

Please make this locally owned cafe a must stop. The food is amazing. Fugazza pizza was the best pizza I've had. Caprese empanada was delicious too and so cute. It's not like your usual empanada. They have multiple flavors and multiple kinds of pizza with different toppings. The crust and toppings were delicious and so much cheese! Megan loves cheese . The owner was so nice, warm and inviting. He even offered to change the tv to English, I politely declined. I hear their pastas are great but I didn't try it. I had tons of leftovers of my 10in pizza that I will be digging into tonight for late night snack. I hope I have time to stop by before I leave to grab some more food there but my time is short here in Florida. We don't have food like this back in Ohio. I'm surely going to miss it. Just stop here, please. You will love it.

A little piece of Argentina here in the greater Orlando area. My wife and I first heard about this place via Facebook. My wife is from Argentina and she's always looking for food and people that remind her of home. We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon and were immediately greeted by the owner Daniel. My wife knew immediately the owners were very nice people and good food would soon follow. The first impression of the building is very quaint and everything is very clean and new. They had spanish music playing softly and actually have Argentinian television channels playing on the t.v.'s. Of course one television had soccer playing. The owner and his wife went out of their way to make us feel welcome and you can see the passion for making customers happy. We decided to try the empanadas and pizza. My wife is an empanada and pizza aficionado. I've traveled to Argentina numerous times so I have an idea about the topic as well. The empanadas are baked and are so flaky, crispy, and bursting with meat. The beef were probably the best we've ever had. The ham and cheese were also amazing. My wife had to admit they were better than her mothers and grandmothers. That's not easy for a proud Argentinian to admit especially when here family is 1/2 Argentinian and 1/2 Italian. The second course was the pizza. They use fresh quality ingredients and it shows. The cheese was creamy and the sauce was just the perfect balance of acid to balance the creamy. The ham and peppers on the pizza were also great. We had espresso and cafe con leche and both were divine. Best coffee we've had in awhile. Starbucks has nothing on these guys. We bought some desserts and empanadas to bring home. Overall we had a great time and really enjoyed the food. It's nice to see an owner passionate about his restaurant and his customers. It really adds to the experience and makes us want to return as soon as possible. We can't wait to come back and try some of the pastas on the new menu.
