New Lazy moon location is super nice! Enjoyed The Buff pizza slice for lunch last week. I think this was the best slice I've had in a while, I could taste the freshness and there was a good amount of sauce and toppings. I like to dip it in ranch!! The pizza slices here are massive FYI if you haven't been before, you only need 1. Prices start at about $7 and go to 12-14$ for the loaded specialty slices. They do have some good lunch combos you can get a side salad. Sometimes I will get a basic cheese with a side salad and it's filling. Their Caesar salad is super yummy. There is a bar you can order at as well. They are known for their "Boxcar Willy" combo which is a cheese slice and a pint of PBR. Overall impressed with this location.

Ordered a take out pizza 20" half mushroom half pepperoni. I've eaten at the colonial location on several occasions in the past and generally enjoyed the pizza there. This location is much closer to home so I figured I would give it a shot..First off the cheese was sparse and unevenly distributed and seemed to be of a low(er) quality. The sauce was worse, if I had to guess it wasnt even a sauce had a more tomato paste flavor, sharp and was dry. There was a decent amount of mushrooms on the one half but barely any pepperoni on the other half. The dough and crust had no real flavor. I'm not sure if I just went on a bad day or my memory of the other location is rusty but I'm pretty disappointed to drop nearly 40$ with tip and to basically throw half the pizza away. Me and my wife don't eat out too much anymore cause we make really good meals at home but pizza is one of things we don't so to feel I just lit 40$ on fire over nothing, so this sucked as like to feel I get my moneys worth. The reviews seem to positive overall but this is my honest 2c, it gives me no please to drop a low score but I felt compelled to do it.

Never met a Lazy Moon I didn't like. Finally got to stop in here after seeing it open for a few months, and the crab rangoon pizza special truly was the best slice I've ever had from them. This location is a little brighter than the Colonial location which used to be my go-to. The outdoor tables and bar are spacious and comfortable, and I see myself visiting for all types of different occasions.Service was quick and kind. Looking forward to many more visits!

Legendary-sized pizza slices continue to be the standard at this bright, new location in Maitland. I've now enjoyed pizza at all three current locations and at the original location that was razed and replaced by UCF student housing. History aside, the Maitland location is the best in my opinion. What stands out? The pizza still is loaded with toppings and tastes great! The uniquely characteristic honey for the crust (bones) is dispensed in little cups (in place of the honey bear dispensers on the tables). The space is bright -inside and outside, full of energy, and the best customer service. All the employees look happy to be working here!Soda and adult beverages are available. I've enjoyed a number of the beers on draft. Parking is plentiful since this is a stand alone location in the midst of other businesses in storefronts. Bonus material: Lookup "Our Story" on the Lazy Moon website to discover the (humorous) "real story" of their beginnings, starting in 1620. https://www.lazymoonpizza.com/story

Recently my wife and I dined at Lazy Moon, which is located in Maitland. We have never been here before, so I was excited to try this place for dinner. We have heard great things about their pizza, mostly that the slices were monstrous. The restaurant has a minimalist touch, which I actually loved. It told me that the food will speak for itself. The menu itself is a straightforward one. You can build your own pizza, choose from the Lazy Favs, and calzone, a salad, or soups. Aside from the food they offer alcohol from the Booze Bible, which is a great name for the menu lol. Broken down to cocktails, wine, beer (draft, bottle, cans), cider and seltzer. My wife decided to create her own pizza (Tomato sauce, Mozzarella, Bacon crumbles Sauté mushroom, blue cheese crumbles) She loved this pizza a lot. Her words were the freshness of the mozzarella and tomato sauce, the earthiness of the mushrooms, the crunchiness of the bacon, the tang of the blue cheese... all made the perfect bite. 10 stars. She also ordered somedrinks from the bar. Riesling, (Fitz de Katz: Semi-sweet, aromatic apple, peach and pear notes) She loved this Riesling a lot and wants to buy a bottle for the house asap. For her second drink she ordered the Mojito (Flor de Caña Rum, mint, lime, simple syrup) She also thought this was delicious. She could've gone for a bigger glass.I chose to create my own: (tomato sauce, Asiago Cheese, double sausage crumbs, green bell peppers, red onion, basil) LOVED this pizza slice. The sausage was flavorful, the freshness of each ingredient was on point. For my drinks I got 2 Old Fashioned (Ezra Brooks Rye Whiskey, blood orange bitters, angostura bitters, simple syrup) a wonderful old fashioned that was generous with the whiskey. All in all it was a great experience. They have a great staff, special thanks to Luke for being attentive. The food was utter deliciousness. We definitely will be returning Aces!

I have been going to Lazy Moon for somewhere around twenty years. The original location is long gone now. It used to be in a shopping plaza (that was long since demolished) located right across from the University of Central Florida (UCF). We would hang out at this place called the Liquid Cellar and after they would close at three o'clock in the morning, we would stroll a few doors down to Lazy Moon and grab some of their huge pizza slices.Lazy Moon now has grown to a few locations around the Orlando, Florida area and they still have a location close to the University of Central Florida (UCF).Anyway, this particular location in Maitland, Florida is a stand-alone building in a shopping plaza. With it being in a shopping plaza, parking is not really an issue. The staff at this location was great. I ordered my pizza and it came out in a pretty quick amount of time. The pizza is huge and pretty tasty. Not only will one slice fill you up, it is a pretty cool experience that will have you going wow at the size of the slice of their pizza.I would definitely recommend this particular location of Lazy Moon and I give it five stars for the overall experience.

Love large portions of pizza? Stop by here, it's a casual joint meant for a quick bite, because they're pretty fast and serves humongous slices of pizza. Service was awesome, the people here are nice and the place is just casual and cool. No worries, they offer wine, beer, cider, and fountain drinks. Today we ordered the kids combo, slice of meat pizza and the Jason's Mom slice! Very filling, crust was light with a slight crisp. My kids loved it and definitely a place for a family to enjoy together!

We have never been too lazy moon, so I was super excited to try this place for dinner one night, with my husband and some friends. We decided to all go for dinner after work, and bring some other people with us. We have heard great things about their pizza, mostly that their slices are ginormous and also very delicious. This location is in Maitland, which was different for us. We have never been in this area, so it's always nice to get to see more of Orlando. It was very easy to find, located in a shopping center. Parking was not bad, we were easily able to find a parking spot, however, busy nights, parking could be difficult as again, they share parking with other businesses. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It was actually very busy, and people just kept coming in, there was honestly never a dull moment. They do have tables, booths and bar seating inside. Most of the tables were the high-top tables. It was very plain but in a great way. I really did love the giant painting on the wall. I really also thought, every single employee we came in contact with was absolutely a gem. They were so nice, so friendly, asked if they could clear items for us and even brought us to-go boxes. I decided to create my own, I wasn't too sure how many toppings you could add so I just added bacon, sautéed mushrooms and blue cheese crumbles with a side of ranch. I also ordered a mojito. My husband created his own as well with sausage, onions and peppers. And our friend ordered the buffalo chicken. All three of us absolutely loved our pizza. They were so large and cooked to perfection. I loved my combination and would order this again. Our other friends ordered a create your own and a birria calzone. Both also really loved them. We ordered a few drinks as well, since it was there, they had an actual bar and some really good drinks. We all ordered a variety including wine, old fashioneds and mojitos. All the drinks were so good, their price was pretty reasonable as well. We also ordered the garlic cheese bread with marinara. These were so yummy, garlicky and cheesy and really good. I did notice you could add toppings to your cheese bread and make it unique as well. All in all, we really loved this place. It is a little far for us, but we will for sure be going back for lunch or dinner! Thank you, Lazy Moon for making delicious pizzas, great dinks and having amazing staff work there!

We love Lazy Moon! So glad they moved into the neighborhood. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. They have a cute, casual spot with plenty of seating and even a pretty long bar. The food is so good. LOVE their sauce and I could eat the pizza every day. The salads and soups are great too and we appreciate their specials.
