Landings Bistro

Had a quick bite to eat at the bar area. Hubby ordered the burger and said it was good. I had the Philly cheesesteak. It was good, but reminded me of a Steak-Um. Definitely not worth the $16, but I guess that's the inflation of hotel restaurants. Bartender was friendly and drinks were cold. It's an open area, so reminds me of eating in a lobby (literally). If you want a more relaxed, restaurant atmosphere- lots of places in walking distance. The convenience is nice, tho. NOTE: we ordered breakfast sandwiches at the Market the next morning and they were delicious. Ham and cheese crossaint and sausage/egg/cheese were very fresh!!

Ali is a great server. Fine dining in a casual atmosphere.It may sound silly but I'm super picky and the french fries were perfectly cooked. They weren't undercooked and they were crispy. They were perfect!!!The barbecue sandwiches were delightful. They have delicious desserts.There chef Andrew does an amazing breakfast!

Let me start with saying the food is good. A little over priced but, I'm willing to pay for the convenience when traveling That ambiance is nice. The big glass roof makes it enjoyable but calm. The service ruins it. I can tell you all about the bartender and the waitress. She never left behind the bar, and every table had to come up and get their own drinks and close our their tabs. The male bartender talks down about the kitchen telling customers how "they jip you on celery and carrots." How do I know about the manager that had to leave and her dog and all her issues outside of work? Because the two of them talked all about it. I was never asked how my food was, never asked if I wanted another drink, never asked if I needed anything. Hell I was never asked anything or even spoken to. No, I didn't tip. You didn't deserve it. You should be forming relationships and doing your job. Not standing behind a bar bs'ing to pass time.

Located inside the Doubletree hotel. Sat at the bar; Marcy and Bianca were excellent. Just enough conversation and menu directions, but not intrusive. Meal was very good; Cobb salad and substitute a Hickory Burger for the protein. Outstanding mix.
