Good selection, and most importantly, VERY fresh! Competitive pricing rounds this out to be THE place to go for all fish and seafood.

I know this was a drive for us but we were looking for a fresh seafood market to make a good broil.... This place was it!!!! It smelled like fresh fish, everything was nicely displayed, enough workers to keep the line moving, it was worth the drive! Sooo many options, from whole fish to crabs to claws to filets... I spent about $75 on 4 thick salmon steaks, 2lbs of tilapia, 2lbs of jumbo shrimp, 4 blue live crabs, and seasonings. Everything was bagged nicely and they even place an extra bag with ice! (Very thoughtful!) Will definitely be back again! P.S. It was in the ghetto, plenty of parking but worth the trip!

Great customer service! They always have what we need. My husband and I travel an hour and half to to shop here. During our last visit we had to wait for blue crabs but when we went back to pick them up they had our order ready in minutes! If you want real deal seafood options and great prices this is the best place in the Polk county area to go!

My go to local market for fresh seafood since relocating to Lakeland three years ago -- from many years in San Francisco and spoiled by walking to my favorite spots to shop for fresh! The counter staff are pleasant and helpful even during their busiest times on Fridays and Saturdays. At Lakeland Seafood, I most often buy Royal Reds from the Gulf Coast (wonderful) and Fresh Cod (appears to have been frozen fresh and thawed for sale). The cod worked fine for my Coconut Curry Fish Instant Pot Recipe. This week, I tried fresh black mussels (origin unknown)-- but I was sorely disappointed once steamed them per my typical "Barefoot in Paris" recipe. Not like the usual buttery mussels am used to devouring so perhaps it was the type of mussel available.

Since my last review I have revisited this establishment in the hopes of a change for the best. I'm happy proud and glad to say each time that I've visited this location staff about has always greeted and took good care of usVery well

Great seafood store with big variety. Clerks are knowledgeable and don't mind sharing the back story on their fish. Had multiple kinds of shrimp--wild, Gulf pink, Gulf white, Royal red, cleaned, shells on, flash frozen. Many kinds of fish fileted and not. They have a great system for crowded Saturday morning to grab your fish, bag it and THEN give you a number for the register. It's bustling Saturdays making parking difficult but midweek, had the store to myself. Our shrimp and wild salmon was all fresh and cooked well. (The wild caught was the same price as local grocery but redder and in smaller pieces.) I will pay the extra not to have to clean the shrimp myself next time tho! they also have many seasonings and breadings. (We enjoyed the pink shrimp over the white shrimp tho the white is sposed to be "sweeter")

Best selection of seafood in town with anything you need from crabboils to clambakes even has ways to do Maryland style crab s with reasonable prices and friendly helpful staff you can't go wrong.

Just went to pickup some seafood at Lakeland Seafood market today. First time customer! WOW!!! Bought some grouper and some shrimp!! Came home, cooked the grouper in a pan with olive oil and butter and sprinkled some oregano and dill on top and it just melted in my mouth! SO FRESH!!I cooked the shrimp in a pan with olive oil and sprinkled some Old Bay seasoning on top and the shrimp were equally delish!!If you are looking for fresh wild caught right from Florida waters...look no further!! This is now my go to for seafood!!! (and no, I don't work here or know anyone). As a matter of fact, I just moved to the area!!! :)

Very nice selection of seafood!!! Anything you could want! Whole fish or filets... great shrimp selection, and OMG the oysters!! Crawfish, crab, seasonings for every taste... very busy place, and yet they serve every customer rapidly! Pack in ice and you're out the door!
