The Lakehouse Restaurant at Hyatt Regency Cypress Orlando Resort is the perfect upscale restaurant with nice water views, sushi, seafood, lunch, breakfast options for patrons that want good quality food and don't want to leave the Resort. The ambiance of the restaurant is upscale and grandiose with 2 story tall ceilings, pretty light fixtures, and wall to ceiling glass views of the lake, white table cloths, and comfy padded seating. The GRILLED SALMON & AVOCADO ROLL came with Okinawa Sweet Potato Aloli, Bok. Choy, Avocado Furikake Roll, Asian Chimichurri. The salmon had a nice sweet and spicy sauce and the sushi was incredibly fresh! 9/1" The FLORIDA PINK SHRIMP LEMON PEPPER PASTA came with Vesuvio Pasta, Arugula Pesto, Honey Glazed Pork Belly, Pecorino Cheese, Meyer Lemon Preserve. Very tasty! 9/10 The WHOLE ROASTED BRANZINO came with Tomato Dill Vinaigrette, Yuca Croquettes 8/10 The kids SALMON came grilled with roasted potatoes and vegetables and my daughter loved it! 9/10 Our servers were friendly helpful quick and very attentive with at one point 3 servers bringing us our dishes. Servers were quick to bring more drinks and extra sauces and help us with a booster chair for my daughter. If you're at the Hyatt regency resort or in Orlando near Disney and looking for some upscale seafood, I definitely recommend you try the Lakehouse!

Best breakfast buffet. If you stay at this hotel make sure you include the breakfast buffet in your stay package. The dinner menu is also good.

Checked in at 8:16 for our 830 reservation at the lake house the Hyatt Regency grand Cypress. We have a leak house menu that has salads, Appetizers , Pizzas , and starters. There is another menu that also has their sushi options such as rolls, starters, and Appetizers . On the backside of your sushi menu they also have a whole menu that has sake cocktails and singleserve sake as well. Walking down the spiral staircase to get to the check in the whole restaurant reminds me of the Ravallo at 4 SEASONS because of the glass windows and the layout of the tables and the design to me this restaurant is very open concept. We ordered the fresh Sashimi with tuna, yellowtail, and salmon. It was so good. We also got cocktails I got a yuzu gin spritz and my partner got some sake. For main course I got the 16 oz bone in rib-eye with smashed potatoes A1 and charred broccoli. This was one of the most moist bone in steaks I've had. My partner ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries. Our whole experience at this restaurant was superb but what made the meal better was our server Kevin. His positive energy and love of the resort and restaurant made our experience for dinner ten times better. 10/10 Definitely returning.

This is a fantastic hotel restaurant. It's bright with wall to wall windows and light! There are rushes so service is slower at times which is understandable. The breakfast buffet was awesome! We ate at it three days in a row. Ooooops. The eggs were fluffy. There was a yogurt bar that had countless toppings. Muffins, breads, the possibilities seemed endless. We had dinner there one night for convenience. Let's get into that gluten free pizza crust. There is no way you'd know. It was fabulous! I love it when dietary restrictions don't compromise flavor and expectations.

Decent stay overall, but the experience was marred by a couple of major issues. The elevators were painfully slow and unreliable, which made getting to and from our room frustrating, especially since the hotel was hosting 2 separate weddings at the same time so it was extra crowded. Additionally, the water pressure in the bathroom was inconsistent, and we weren't able to use the shower head. Otherwise, the hotel was fine, but these problems overshadowed the stay. Mo at the concierge was amazing and really helped us with our getaway.

I once ate dinner here years ago with my friends, when I was on business. At that time the restaurant was named Hemmingways. The restaurant overlooks their 21-acre private Lake Windsong. The LakeHouse is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Lakehouse also has a sushi bar and pizza oven. I was staying at the Hyatt this vacation visit. I recently ate dinner here with my family twice. I will summarize both of our family dinners during our stay.I was first here with my family of eight including three preschoolers with a dinner reservation. We had a very nice large corner table overlooking their lake. I started with and enjoyed my Lakehouse Sunset cocktail with Bacardi rum, Orange Juice, Pineapple Juice, Passion Fruit, Grenadine and a float of Myers's Rum for $16. I also enjoyed my medium rare bone in ribeye steak with broccolini and baby potatoes. Fresnel served our table very well. They automatically charged 18% gratuity, therefore, my total bill was $308 including gratuity. Our dinner was good therefore, we all returned a second time for another family dinner. The eight of us visited a second time for dinner. This time our table was away from the window, therefore, we could not view the lake. I again enjoyed two Lakehouse Sunsets for $16 each. I also enjoyed my "Broken Lasagna" for $26 with Béchamel, Bolognese Sauce, Burrata Cheese, and Pesto. I love Bechamel. It was too much to eat so I took it back to my room to eat it the next day for dinner. Lahcen served our table very well. They again charged 18% gratuity. My total bill this time was $314 including their 18% gratuity. We enjoyed both of our family dinners here. We would return here again for dinner.

The Lakehouse at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is a restaurant located inside the Hyatt Regency. It's on their lowest level within the hotel, overlooking the lake area. There is indoor and outside seating available. There is a beautiful staircase that you traverse down into the restaurant. The restaurant is surrounded with glass windows. It's absolutely breathtaking!I ate twice at the Lakehouse while staying at the hotel for a convention. I ended up eating the all you can eat breakfast for $30.00 and I had lunch during the day at the Lake House. For the breakfast, I had arrived around 7:00 A.M. I was immediately seated as a colleague already had a table. The buffet included the following and a lot more!A Omelet stationPancake StationBaconEggsFruitThe team was amazing at Lakehouse. The member helping us out during breakfast stopped by our table often, refilling our drinks when needed. The Pancake was delicious, light, and fluffy. They had syrup available in mini containers to pour over the pancake. The fresh omelet was perfect! I had my omelet customized with cheese and tomatoes. This was a great breakfast to get the day started! For lunch, I ended up having a burger with a side of the French Fries. The French Fries were Steak Fries, freshly cut and fried. It was a hit meal! This restaurant is lovely and I'd highly recommend eating here at least once if you're staying on property at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress resort.

We stayed at resort for 1 night on way home to CA after working hard at 2 day conference. Wanted to splurge and relax...initially was going to try Four Flamingos the other restaurant at the resort, however at $$$$ that was tooo much splurge...so we opted for Lakehouse.Got seated very quickly, sushi bar/menu is available so my wife was happy. My wife grilled our server about wine selections as we were having steak, sashimi is her appetizer. Which red would go well with the ribeye? She recommended the Pinot so wife agreed, I always have Malbec. Edamame and salmon (sake) sashimi came, woah!!! Initially I thought price was kind of high for 2 pieces of sashimi but if you're going to give me the whole fish...bring it on!!! Fish was fresh and a very good portion. Most times samurai sushi chefs want to show off their knife skills by slicing sashimi paper thin or in tiny chucks, you know what I mean. Wine came, aroma was good taste, smooth, OK. Steak came, cooked just how I asked, took a bite, chewed, chased down with a sip of Pinot...bang boom!!!!! like in Ratatouille movie, taste sensational! We were very pleased with or meal!!!
