Inside Epcot and there are many food establishments to choose from. This location requires reservations and is worth it for authentic Mexican. La Hacienda de San Angel is the inside restaurant attached to the takeout San Angel Cantina. Different food menu. Staff very nice and helpful. Beautifully done establishment; as expected from WDW. Diverse enough menu to please most but a bit pricey. The taste is amazing though. Alambre De Res is a steak tenderloin based burrito. Full of peppers, cheeses and flavors. Very good. Tacos De Camerones is a shrimp taco dish. Also very good. Dinner was finished with the Ultimate Tres Leches; a Mexican moist cornbread dessert La Cava Avocado margarita is unique drink that my wife enjoyed very much. Our 26 y/o son was with us for this visit and he commented that this was the hands down the best meal he had ever had. Service was impeccable as well.

This really fell short for us on a few levels to the point I was just confused and for me to say that about a Mexican restaurant just doesn't happen! So let's start off with our server they really weren't pleasant like they seemed really pissed off from the second we encountered them and I'm not sure why as we did nothing to them we asked little to no questions and were just met with attitude and sour vibes! So for our drinks 3 of us asked for limes with them and when our drinks came no limes so when our server came back again we asks for some limes he then seemed to be infuriated by this then left to get them only to come back with 2 limes when there was 4 of us and 3 of us had asked for them initially I'm not sure if there is a shortage of limes or something here because when our next drinks came we again asked for limes and again only got two which I'm still confused by.Then our food came I ordered the pastor tacos and let me say I was disappointed as my tortillas came in a paper bag with one of them being stuck to the bag and ripping off the paper when I took them out needless to say I didn't eat that one and then my food was lukewarm like it had been sitting for a while, once our food came our server not once came back to check on us or to refill our drinks so we were just stuck with what we had by the end I was very thirsty as what I payed for never really came into fruition especially with the limes! My pastor tacos other than just being warm were just ok not the best I've ever had and closer to the bottom of any that I have had as they desperately needed some salsa as who doesn't like salsa on their tacos or even some pico lol!Overall terrible service complete with mediocre food at high prices this really is a disappointment as I've had some really good things at Epcot but this definitely wasn't one of them so do yourself a favor and go to one of the others restaurants in the park you'll be happy you did!

This is a solid food option at disney. The service is good and the view is great as you're right next to the waters. We tried totopos with queso and salsa. The salsa had a good amount of spice and queso was nothi special. The tacos al pastor comes separately and you have to assemble your own taco. It was good but expensive for what it is.

The place is a bit crowded for new year eve dinner and the waitress is a little rush for ordering. Depite the suprise that they charge 15 dollar for chips which is usually offered free in Mexican restaurant, we ordered two margaritas and some tacos and some meat dish. For the margaritas, the san angel inn margarita is way too sweet. The carne asada appetizer, the short ribs and tacos of fried lobster are pretty good but the carne asada entree and the tacos al pastor is average and the later one is on the salty side.

If you want some good Mexican, there's a lot of good choice in Mexico pavillon in Epcot. I'm not sure one is bad. Tried this one just before the luminous show. We were greeted with a place along the wall but on the window side. It was straight in front of the show which was very nice when it started. While we couldn't see the fireworks because of the roof, we were available to see everything else. A window seat would have give us a full view but hard to get these kind of seats 20 min before the show.As for the food. We tried 2 things. The first one is a Chile relleno. In short, its a big stuffed pepper. It come with a side sauce. The waiter told us the pepper isn't very spicy but the sauce is. Looking only (I forgot what type of pepper it was), I found out on the scoville scale that it's very low, lower then jalapeno. When my girlfriend got the plate, she was able to take only 2 bites, the pepper was way too spicy. The inside of the pepper was also hot since it was mixed with everything else. The sauce on the other end was sweet and not spicy. The waiter gladly took it back and didn't charged us since my girlfriend clearly stated multiple time her concerned for the spiciness before ordering. To be fair, I did try the plate and while it was good, I could taste the heat from the pepper and I eat very spicy food (like scorpion pepper and sometime Carolina). So it was mild at all.The plate that I took which I ended sharing with my girlfriend was Alambre de res. It is kind of a taco made with beef sterloin. It was very good and not spicy at all. I would take this back no question asked. Why we all know it's Disney and stuff cost a lot, only the alambre plate raised the bill to nearly 55USD$ with taxes and tips (45$ with taxe + tips) so its very pricy

Long time Disney foodie, second time trying La Hacienda. The first was great, and the second was even better. The place itself is the restaurant across from the pyramid, not inside. These are frequently confused. While everyone seems to want to dine inside, I personally enjoy the fireworks views, especially if you have a good table. We got lucky and were right up against the windows!Food is what you would expect from a Disney Mexican restaurant, if not even more expensive. Definitely delicious, though - the corn bisque was rich, and our entrees were brought out relatively quickly. Honorable mention goes to the avocado margarita, which is my Epcot go to. Our waitress was kind and quick, and overall we had a great experience. I'm sure we will be back!

This family friendly restaurant is located in the Mexico section of Epcot theme park. The food here is pretty good with big portions. The hit were the adult beverages though! There is a horchata one and an avocado one that is so yum! Plus the server was attentive and helpful with our menu questions. He gave the suggestion of the avocado drink that did not steer us wrong.

On a recent trip to EPCOT, my friends and I dined her for dinner. I'd never been but they had dinner here a few times before and highly recommended the restaurant. On food alone, this place is great but I can't rate my experience any higher than 2 stars based on the service. We made morning reservations for 5:45pm but because our wait time for a ride right before took longer than expected, we did not arrive until 6pm. Thankfully they honored our reservation. We were seated right away with a smile and friendly staff. We ordered drinks, skipped appetizers and ordered main course entrees. I tried the Paloma (strong and delicious) and for my main, I chose one of the restaurant's favorites - the Pollo Poblano: Roasted chicken breast with Poblano cream sauce served with baby zucchini, sweet potatoes and oyster mushrooms. The dish was presented very well and I loved the combination of vegetables, sauce, and spice of the chicken. The chicken was a bit dry but overall good. I like to think of this dish as elevated Mexican, definitely not worth $32 but you're at Disney so money's no such thing, right? The biggest fails were the service touch points: 1) When I unrolled my silverware, there was brown lipstick all over my napkin - EW! I immediately explained this to a server, gave her the napkin, and requested a new one - she never returned. 2) Our service failed towards the end of our experience when we waited for entirely too long for our checks then had to wait a long while for the server to come back and run our cards. Waiting to close out took about as long as our meal. Our server also did not seem too friendly or keen to us being there. Could have been a better overall experience if service were improved.

So many options in Epcot for food by we wanted sometime different. The wait for our reserved table was only a few minutes so it was perfect. Table was right beside a large window looking over the lake - so great ambiance. Server was fantastic- super attentive and knowledgeable.Food was very good (even though it was tailored to NA spice levels). I was surprised how much heat my tacos had...and my wife loved her stuffed poblano pepper. Kids had the quesadilla and tacos and it was a good portion. The rice also was full of rich, deep chicken flavours. Also, amazing cocktails..the special house margarita was amazing. Pleasantly surprised because the meal before at Disney was so poor.

I would give this place zero stars if possible. The supposedly spicy el Diablo margarita was so sweet, it tasted like they put an entire jar of agave syrup in one drink. The waiter was in such a hurry he didn't even ask if it was good, even though I obviously never took more than one sip. He also suggested the Tacos el pastor as one of the most popular items, which came with some old dried out corn tortillas which were mostly just stuck to the inside of a damp paper bag. Just know if you eat there, you may break a tooth on the wildy over cooked rice. It is a travesty that Epcot slings this garbage labeled as food for families everyday, and no one has stepped in to try and make a change for the better. Absolutely the worst food I've had in months, a true celebration of mediocrity. Save your money and go elsewhere.
