La Boulangerie French Cafe

Good breakfast, loved the fresh orange juice. Friendly service. Street parking is available. I let was good but the surprise was the salad. The dressing is fabulous.

This French cafe is very cute and a bit fancy. There's sitting outside and once in a while little birds visit you at the tables, super cute. Delicious food and yummy macaroons. Service was great. Macaroons, eventhough succulent, are pricey.

Very disappointing. They didn't seem to have their stuff together at all. Hardly any pastries in the case. The espresso machine wasn't working and it was around 8 am on a Saturday morning. Didn't seem to be managed well. Don't recommend.

I stopped by with a friend for Saturday brunch and the place was starting to become more busy around 10:30 AM. I ordered the prosciutto and goat cheese sandwich that came with a side salad with homemade French vinaigrette. The sandwich was on a crusty roll and had a surprising amount of prosciutto (most places put the minimal amount of prosciutto whenever it's on the menu but not here) and creamy, flavorful goat cheese spread. The side salad was filled with fresh greens, two big slices of tomato, and a tasty vinaigrette. It paired well with the sandwich and the meal was filing but still felt like a light brunch. I also got a cappuccino which was average and slightly overpriced. La Boulangerie has plenty of other sandwich options, egg dishes, and even pizza. Give this place a shot the next time you're walking around downtown Orlando.

I used to frequent this cafe for lunch when I was working downtown a few years ago and always had a great meal, so it hurts me to write this review now. I visited yesterday before a matinee at the Dr. Phillips Center and was extremely disappointed. The restaurant was not very busy, but the two servers were visibly stressed and rushing about. Just taking a quick look around immediately answered the question of why--no one was eating. My table ordered three very simple dishes. Not only did we wait 20 minutes between the first dish arriving and the other two, but two of the dishes were incorrect or missing items. Listening in on other tables, everyone was having the same experience. We didn't have time for our dishes to be corrected because we had to go to the show, but our waitress was kind enough to take 10% of our bill. She apologized for the wait on our food and explained that the kitchen was short staffed. I'm not sure if the restaurant is under new management, but everything about this place I once loved seems different. I don't think I'll be returning.

It's been a while since I've been back here in downtown, and I will admit that the quality has gone down. I used to visit here frequently even from its soft opening and frequently got their fresh baguettes and macarons to go as well. It seems the focus now is more on the menu items and less on the bakery and patisserie. All the baked goods were finished even only at noon, and so I had a mille-feuille but the pastry layers were very soft & the crème patisserie was too runny. They also no longer sell fresh macarons by the piece anymore, only prepackaged boxes. It was good while it lasted though.

Nice place, great vibe and friendly staff.The macaroon was delicious.Coffee was good.The chocolate mousse dessert was amazing.The other two that we order we didn't liked it, the mango and the peanut butter, it wasn't so fresh.Overall a nice place to eat some dessert and drink a coffee in downtown.

Nice little cafe with delicious food and drinks. Highly recommend for breakfast/brunch/lunch.

I have a new favorite place! Food and everything I've had here is delish! Sandwiches, coffees, desserts have all been very good!

not happy about my visit today food was bland an very expensive for no reason very little meat on the baguette that's already hard n then they toasted it too I was missing ingredients off the sandwich as well
