Came here one day for lunch. Saw some great stuff on social media, so my interest was peaked. And then it got an honorary award in a local periodical I read, and I was sold. So we popped in with empty stomachs and went to work. Ambiance was out of bounds, man. Lanterns everywhere, paper walls, bamboo looking stuff, it was very reminiscent of Japan, which I was lucky enough to visit last March. We got seated on a private little booth with curtains for privacy, very fun. Spices are on the table with cute little spoons. And if you need anything, there are buttons on the wall that call your server over to you. Very neat. Service was also great. Very nice folks who do a really good job at the omurice presentation. As for the food, it's complicated. The menu items are diverse, varied, and different from your run-of-the-mill Japanese restaurant. The items would probably be five stars to someone who's never had them before, but compared to the gold standard, they were pretty ok. Not to knock anything they're doing here. I'm glad they're doing it. I started off with a classic Thai Iced Tea. It was sweet, it had a little bite, it was served in a branded, trendy little glass cup. Very good. We opened up with the Honeycomb Platter (Chilli Garlic Edamame, Lobster & Chashu Salad Ball, Tamago Egg, Shrimp Tempura, Eel Unagi, Scallops, Seaweed Salad). Edamame, good. Tamago egg was a lot of fun. Another brand upon it. This place markets so well. Delicious eel. Fun little scallops with that amazing sauce on them. These are all over Japan, and I ate about 2,000 of them. One of the main events we had was the Tonkatsu Omurice (Fluffy omelet egg and Pork Tonkatsu on top of chicken fried rice, topped with your choice of Curry Sauce or Demi Glace). This was wow, so fun. Perfect texture to the egg, cooked juuust enough, slathered in that amazing curry sauce. Rice was ok, but it was definitely needed here. I really recommend this dish. Another app we ordered was the Yakitori Platter (Negima (Chicken Thigh w. Leek), Gyu Harami (Beef Skirt), Butabara (Pork Belly), Baby Scallop and Zucchini). Everything was good here. This was a five star dish. Please get this. Especially those scallops. So good. We felt frisky, so we ordered a couple more items, including the Eel Avocado Rice Burger (Eel, Cucumber, Avocado, Eel Sauce). This was a lot of style, but not a lot of substance. The rice was not a good vehicle for the eels and avocado, slipping sliding everywhere. And it was just so bland. The eel was good, though. I will eat pounds of this eel. We had just a little more room, so we finished off with the Okonomiyaki (Japanese Style pan-fried pancake topped with okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise, bonito flakes (katsuobushi), dried green seaweed (aonori)). This was not a good okonomiyaki. I recommend you skip this. Overall, I was very happy with my visit here. Some things can definitely be improved, but some things are definitely perfect. I will come back after my requisite five year waiting period and see how they are coming along.

Not a Ramen virtuoso, so you need to keep that in mind. Looking for something new so we tried this spot. I wasn't expecting much as this place is in a little strip mall, but overall it was a great meal and a great evening! Super cool atmosphere and decor that could have you believe you're dining in Japan with screened booths and lots of wood. Great Ramen selection. Pretty accurate heat ratings for the spicy dishes and super quick service. I know it's a pre-made soup, but delivered to the table 2 minutes after ordering is pretty cool. Wait staff were very friendly, perfectly attentive, and extremely helpful with recommendations. Prices seemed to be fair and on par with the local market, with the exception of the teas.... They were a little high. Great meal in a really cool little spot. We'll definitely be back.

The atmosphere is truly immersive--it instantly transported me out of Orlando and back to my time in Japan. We visited midday when it was empty, so I was surprised they didn't offer a choice between a private booth (which most people would likely prefer) or a table. However, when another couple requested a booth, they were accommodating--you just have to ask.The omurice with demi glaze sauce was absolutely delicious, but the katsu, despite looking great initially, was disappointingly soggy. The rice burger was overly greasy, falling apart when I tried to eat it, which was a letdown. I took it home, hoping to salvage it by draining some oil and reheating it, but it was still inedible. I'm not sure if this was a one-off issue or a sign of declining quality, but I'd recommend sticking to non-fried items like the omurice and ramen. The honeycomb platter was tasty (including a small sampling of eel, scallop, shrimp tempura, seaweed salad, edamame, lobster ball, and tamago). The restaurant is part of Kyuramen, with an attached TBaar boba shop, offering plenty of drink options for dining in or taking to go. Many entrées come with a combo option to add a lemonade or Thai tea, which I highly recommend--the tea was excellent.Overall, a mixed experience, but the ambiance and some dishes make it worth a visit if you choose wisely.

Pros: One of the coolest ambiances in the whole city. I felt like I was on the streets of Japan again. The private booths and the honeycomb booths were both so cool.Service was also fun. There's a button in the private booth that summoned our server whenever we wanted them. Love it. Loved the unique food items they had on the menu. Very different from typical Japanese menus around town. Cons: Food was four stars. Great, unique ideas, but just poor execution compared to Japan itself. Other than that, no cons. Tips: Get the appetizer sampler.Get the omurice, and add the katsu. Get the skewers.Skip the rice burger.Definitely skip the okonomiyaki.

The vibes and seating is so cute and love the atmosphere especially the honeycomb seating and seats with curtains. They have lots of appetizers to choose from. We tried their popcorn chicken, which was flavorful and seasoned well. We got their takoyaki, which I thought was pretty good as well as their pan fried dumplings. I got their spicy tonkatsu Ramen. Is was so delicious the pork melted in your mouth the tonkatsu omurice was a bit bland flavor wise, but the presentation was awesome. The service was very good and helpful on making decisions. And they also have a Boba tea bar lots of drinks to choose from.

This was a great treat. Family took me here for my 54th birthday because I'm a ramen addict. The food and atmosphere is amazing. Sadly the $100 gift card that was purchased from their website was not accepted because they are not on the official app. Had to request a refund.

I'm not usually big on ramen, but I decided to give Kyuramen x TBaar a try, and overall, I had a good experience!I started with the Okonomiyaki, which I knew I'd love since I've had it at other places. I was right--it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Definitely a great appetizer or side dish! For the ramen, I feel like I didn't order the right one. I went with the Tokyo Tonkotsu Shouyu, which comes in two versions: white garlic or black garlic. The server noticed I wasn't sure, so I told her it was my first time. She recommended the black garlic, but that was a big mistake for me. The flavor was way too strong and totally overpowered the dish. l didn't really enjoy it, so I couldn't finish it. I wish I had gone with the white garlic instead. That said, I still want to come back and try more of their menu, especially a different ramen. The quality and portion sizes are really good for the price. And while the server's suggestion wasn't the best for me, the service overall was great. They even have a button at the table to call someone over if you need anything, which is super convenient. The vibe of the place was awesome! It's modern but still has a traditional Asian decor feel, with lots of natural light, making it feel peaceful. The best part are the individual booths. I asked to sit in one, and it was such a cool experience. You get your own private area separated by a curtain, which I think is perfect for a date night!

I love a good bowl of ramen and knew I needed to give Kyuramen a try once it opened nearby. My friend and I stopped in for lunch and were greeted by the lovely staff. They gave us a small tour and then showed us to our seats - which were up on the second level??!! The interior of the restaurant is absolutely my favorite, is fun to explore, and really gives a cozy vibe to the space. My friend and I split a Thai Tea and some Okonomiyaki. Then I got some of their classic Shouyu black garlic ramen - SO good! I honestly couldn't get enough and I remember wishing that I could go back for dinner! If you are a fan of ramen and are in the area, I highly recommend stopping in!

Disappointing to say the least. The prices are RIDICULOUS.The flavor was good, but not worth what I paid. The staff is "Meh". I ordered something to go, but the kitchen was running behind an undisclosed amount of time. I ended up waiting for about 30 minutes.I will not go back.
