This place has delicious food and good portions, though it is quite pricey! Considering you don't get the full experience of the hibachi, it should be a bit cheaper but really isn't. However, the service was pretty good and the ambiance is very nice and clean. I had the hibachi this time but they have several other options on the menu that looked delicious as well!

Good for a quick bite and for happy hour rolls. However, food is pretty mid. It's something I go to when I want quick food but not fast food. I usually order to go and when I go inside it's almost always empty.

In the battle of the Bento Box it's hard to find a winner. Many losers for sure! But with so many components in main dish, rice, salad, soup, cali roll, spring roll, dumplings, etc. there are clear misses and clear winners in each area but nobody really shines as the best in all categories.Like many bento forward places, you order at the register and they bring you your food. The atmosphere here is really good. You can clearly see the dude at the griddle cooking a lot of the food. And the sushi dude is front and center. (dude is gender neutral).Kyoto does a great teriyaki chicken and beef. Two thumbs up!Rice is very good here. Better than average.Soup and salad are standard as everywhere else.Side of noodles is huge and fantastic. I don't like a side of noodles but if I did, I'd go to Kyoto.Cali roll is petty standard. Hard to screw up (though one place does somehow).Tempura is pretty good but needs a better batter with more salt. Yeah, that's what the sauce is for but a fried onion ring should be spectacular on its own.Spring rolls at pretty much all these places are a greasy mess.Dumpling was good. All said and done with drink and tip, you're talking $25 a head unless you get extra apps and sushi.I like it. Not my favorite place. Don't know if I have a favorite place. But definitely maybe the best for teriyaki bento fast casual.

Visited this place as it was recommended by friends. If you're looking for a fast food version of hibachi this is the go to place. The food was decently priced and taste was good. Service was good and the food came out relatively quick.

I was on the East side of Orlando searching for a restaurant to have lunch at and I happened on this location of Kyoto. I've been to three of their other sites in the area so I am familiar with their menu and their usual standard of service. The first thing I readily noticed after paying were the many tables which were not bussed. Also, the time between payment and the time my lunch entree order was delivered was longer than I was accustomed. I do understand my two observations may be due to staffing shortages which has affected the restaurant industry as a whole but, I did not witness any individual which I could identify as being in management. A simple acknowledgement of timing issues or inquiring how someone's meal experience was progressing goes a long way in customer satisfaction. That being said, I ordered the Salmon Hibachi (lunch portion) which includes your choice of white or fried rice and miso soup or ginger salad. The meal itself was good, even though it was served lukewarm. Again, something I haven't experienced at Kyoto's other sites and which leads me to feeling I should dine at my usual spots.

Very nice place - the inside decor is wonderful and lighting is nice. The food here is very good and decent priced for the portions. The sesame chicken was amazing, fried rice is okay. The hibachi chicken is good but the veggies are very buttery and don't really give hibachi veggie vibes.Overall solid place and would come again

Service was great, some weirdo came in and made a scene and the manager handled it perfectly. Highly recommend dining here

I am a fan of the food here at Kyoto but the service at this particular location needs big time improvement, as well as management upgrades. Apparently, last call to order food is 15 minutes before close. This is not posted anywhere and not included online anywhere. I had tried placing an order over the phone to pick up, but the phone line was down for some reason so I said "hey I have time before 1030"When I arrive there was 0 sympathy for a customer that was forced to drive in to place the order, and the staff was rudely unapologetic because they were ready to go homeDo better guys, service is the only thing you have. You arent a michilin star restaurant
