Seared tuna app tastes like bait. Belch. Good service. Friendly staff. The rest of our meal was fine. Good news is I caught 3 sheep head using the tuna app.

We have been to this Kumo location several times. The food is good and the portions are generous. It can get busy at peak times but it seems to be appropriately staffed.

The food is reliable and consistent. We normally order hibachi dishes (which are not cooked table side but in kitchen) but tonight tried sushi. The rice is very thin on outside of rolls and slightly crunchy but fresh and filings are good and fresh. Also got poke bowl which rice wassuper heavy but toppings were good. I do wish it said that there was a sauce so I could have had it on the side. Also really light on avocado, mango and seaweed salad. Would go back as in this area not a lot of choices. Staff is super wuick but not always attentive.

This place was a place I have wanted to check, and today was the day I went and tried it. You have a beautiful menu, places, extremely clean and the service was extremely fast. Staff is a good size, so waiting time is not an issue. The Ramen was extremely nice, with good flavor. I just wanted something like chili oil and they didn't have it, but my waitress got me some chili powder to put on top of it. It didn't make it hot, but it just gave it that little punch that I wanted. What I saw of sushi coming out was very impressive. I think it's the place that you would not bedisappointed in.

New business to The Villages. I went alone. Sat at the sushi bar. Great food. Great service. It was busy. I really enjoyed the two rolls I had.

Take out not as fresh as eat in. It was super busy tonight (Saturday night) and order took half as long as expected; I wish they would've taken longer and cooked it fresh, but I suppose you can't make everyone happy (me specifically). Major noticeable difference in all dishes compared to prior eat-in experience: spring rolls, gyoza, #9 roll, and one more. Still really tasty though! Still one of my top favorite repeat spots in The Villages.

We had a lovely lunch at Kumo. My Mom and I enjoyed the friendly service, Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box, and the Tuna Poke Bowl. The server was extra thoughtful with many water refill trips, sweet words to my Mom and menu suggestions. The Tuna poke bowl has a fresh blend of mango, cucumber, seaweed salad, fresh tuna over rice. The Bento box included a perfect portion of salmon, California rolls, fried gyoza and ginger rice. We like the prices at lunch a little better too. The decor could be updated, but overall a value experience.

Good food good service and a amazing atmosphere. Ordered the chicken and steak dinner. Chicken was delicious and steak was tender and cooked to perfection. Good portion size and also a good variety of sushi. One of the few places in the Villages that has actual good Japanese cuisine

We've visited this location a handful of times. The food is tasty but I feel they know they thrive because the villages is next door so they get constant business. Again, the food is tasty, but after visiting a handful of times to see if, perhaps, they had some off days while we visited, here's what I've concluded:Cleanliness: always has been clean, including the bathrooms. Presentation:Always a professional presentationService:Service was fine. It was partially busy, but at the end of the lunch rush. Quality:Here's where I'm disappointed:Specialty rolls are always more expensive at sushi locations because it's supposed to be a quality roll. The last 3 visits I've invested in the spider roll, which is spider crab, tempura battered, fried and rolled. Each time there was all batter and little to no crab to be found, but they surely charge high prices for it. Rolls with 'crab':It's fake crab, not actually crabmeat. This is sad because the prices reflect real crab and not artificial. Another specialty rollsWith scallops had a hint of scallops, chopped, amongst a lot more artificial crab, again. At a cost of $80 (not including tip), we've been to sushi places that delivered a wholeLot more, which is why we'd spend out money gladly, weekly, to enjoy great sushi. Not at this place. They will not get any more of our money. It makes me sad when a business gets greedy and begins to reduce quality and still promotes one thing (crab) while delivering a subpar product. I've held off rating this place in the hopes they had off days when we visited but this last visit solidified it was just a 'one off' situation. I cannot recommend this place. There's other options that produce a higher quality product. I truly hope they read this review and look deep inside themselves, but I predict they will not...and it is because it's another business that thinks they will remain successful because they are so close to The Villages.
