We'd heard good things about the school bread and had to try it. My only regret was that we shared one. It was so good I wish I'd had two all to myself! The line reached the door when we arrived but moved quickly so that we reached the ordering within five minutes. The interior is super cute in the traditional Norwegian styles so it's fun to be in line and look around since the only seating is outside. I'd love to have tried other treats but we ordered one school bread to share and ate it outside where there were tables. The base has a texture similar to a donut but not at all sweet with strong notes of cardamom which was delightful. The custard was refreshing and creamy but without being overly rich and just the right level of sweetness. The coconut flavor is light and does not overwhelm the other flavors. A perfect blend of carbs and creaminess.

During our drinking and snacking around the world in Epcot this was definitely one of the standouts. It's located in the Norway Pavilion and is a cute, small little quick service station. Once you get in, you order food and then later down the line you order drinks. We got the School Bread ($4.99) because it was our first time and we heard it's the best. It definitely didn't disappoint the cardamom bread was so unique and paired so well with the custard which wasn't overly sweet. For drink, we got the alcoholic version of the Frozen Viking Coffee ($16) which was very good and not too overwhelmingly coffee. I don't like coffee and I enjoyed this drink. I would definitely recommend this to anyone going to Epcot!

Looking for something sweet? You should go to Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe! It's located at the Norway Pavilion in the World Showcase at Epcot. You'll get to eat some traditional Norwegian specialties. Some of the bakery items include the followingKringla Sweet PretzelsSweet Lefse flatbreadSchool BreadRice CreamMickey Cinnamon Rolland so much more!My husband and I ended up getting the followingSchool Bread: Sweet Roll filled with Custard and dipped in Coconut ($4.79)Eplekake: Apple Cake with Caramel Drizzle ($4.79)When we were ordering, we informed the team members that it was our first time here! They had provided recommendations to try out! The Eplekake was amazing! It was so delicious! It tasted like an apple muffin! It was relatively large, too! The caramel drizze was scrumptious! I would order the Eplekake again! My husband enjoyed the school bread. There is seating available within Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe. It's outside, though, and overlooks the Epcot World showcase!

This is a little hidden gem in ep or. If you want a savory treats, this is the place.I tried various stuff here and everything were great. This time, I tried the school bread. It's basicly like a stuffed donuts but the taste is nothing like a donuts. It's just sweet enough, the vanilla custard is very good and the coconut shaved on top make it so good. It is the most sold pastries across epcot and its easy to see why. Also tried a special coffee, kristof coffee. My girlfriend loved it.In the past, I tried a kringla and it was amazing.Defenetly a place to try for a good sweet snack

Get the school bread when you want a cool snack--it's a refreshing little treat in the heat. The custard in the middle is cold! And so creamy. That was a delightful surprise. It has coconut shavings (not my favorite) and is a touch too sweet. But the bread was good and the custard filling was really, really good. It was close to a cream puff to me. My husband waited in line for us, so that we could go off and find the Kidcot spot. The line was long in the morning but not as bad in the evening, so he went for it. Everything Disney is adorable, so of course the bakery is cute too. I say this is a good snack to grab that doesn't need fork and knife like a lot of others, so you can actually munch while on the move and make the most of your magical time.

A bunch of EPCOT blogs led me here! A jolly worker greeted us as we entered the cold, woodsy bakery. I ordered their famous School Bread. It's like dry bread topped with sweet icing and coconut shavings. The best part was the vanilla custard. My friend and I did not care to finish it. Kringla Bakery is one of the several restaurants that open right at 9 AM, right when EPCOT opens for the regular crowd. If anyone's hungry in the early morning or wants to snack while waiting for the Frozen Ever After ride, this could be a light and convenient option.

Tried the legendary Schoolbread, and by legendary I mean Disney Food Blog won't shut up about it. It's exactly that- bread, but with a simple icing on top that's dipped in coconut with a little cream. With coffee it would have been great. With seating to eat your snack, it would have picked up another star. Glad I tried it so I know, but I also could have lived without the knowledge.

This was one of the destinations as part of my "drink around the world" adventure at Epcot where I got one drink from each country in the park.Kringla is located in the Norway section of the park. It's right outside the Frozen Ever After ride and sells coffee, pastries, and some alcoholic beverages.I got the viking coffee ($15) which was a hot drink containing irish cream liqueur and coffee liqueur. I thought it was just okay and really just tasted like normal coffee with no alcohol. There is a frozen version of this drink which is nice for a warm day. We also got the chocolate norwegian kringla ($6.79) which was kinda like the Norwegian version of a pretzel. It was a thicker pastry with chocolate drizzled on top which was okay and nice for a snack.

When going around the world, I would have to say that this has some of the best sweet options to choose from. I will say that France is probably a close second, but only because all their bakery items are fairly basic. French bakeries are more common in the US while Norwegian bakeries are more specialized. The item to get here is of course the school bread. Luckily when I came on a Thursday night around 8 pm, there was a minimal line. You wait in line, order at the counter, and then pay at the cashiers. There are a bunch of people in the back helping out so the line goes pretty fast. There are more options than the school bread of course, but it being my first time, I have to go with whats popular. The school bread is a cold bread with custard inside and a coconut topping on the outside. Its nice that its actually filled with a good amount of custard as the bread is just under $5. The flavor is a little hard to describe, but one distinct flavor that sticks out is the cardamom. If you dont like cardamom, you will probably want to stay away, but I do, so it was awesome.

I had heard amazing things about the school bread so I came here to tried that item in particular. I found it to be very good for what it was and not overly sweet. My favorite part was the actual bread part which is covered in coconut. I'm not a huge fan of custard, cream, etc. which is what is in the middle of this bread. However, if you love that this is the dessert for you. Kafe appeared clean and service was good.
