Food was eh. She forgot my Malta. And when I turned around and called that they forgot my drink. She told me she for sure gave it to me and that I should have it. She doesn't know if I drank it or not?! Huuuuuh? I'm really not trying to hold one over on them after spending $20 there including my drink I never got. I've had better food in Sanford and Rockledge. Keep your money and pass on this place. Service and food need to step up. Food wasn't bland but it could've used more seasonings and spices. Plaza is busy. Has the wingstop right next door and the Cuban cafe place too. Getting in and out can be tricky.

The food is amazing. The grio w/ black rice is my favorite dish. The reason for the low review is the bathroom and ceilings of this establishment is disgusting. The light did not work in the bathroom I had to use my phone flash light. Also there is always only one person working and that always annoys me to see people handling the register then going in the back to make food.

The bathroom is awful. Based on that, I would not recommend. I ate there prior to using the bathroom. Wish I had walked into the bathroom prior to ordering and eating my food because I would have walked out. Service is great. Food tasted good, but as mentioned, on the day I went, the bathroom was awful.

My wife was born in Haiti so we're always looking for quality Haitian food when we're in Orlando. We think we found the right spot at Kreyol Kafe. We ordered a variety of foods for take out since we're still careful about COVID.The food was perfectly cooked, served hot and very flavorful. If you're unfamiliar with Haitian food, order their chicken dishes and rice. You won't be disappointed, but I recommend the conch (see more below). We ordered: * Griot (fried pork) with rice and beans and fried plantains * Baked chicken with white rice and plantains * Fried chicken with rice and beans and plantains * Conch in kreyol sauce. It's a conch stew and it's delicious. Think very tender calamari. Amazing. I wish I had ordered a lot more since I had to share it with 3 other people. The food is outstanding, the condiments are perfect and I couldn't recommend it more. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

I've never tried Haitian food before, and I don't want to give a bad impression of the rest of the menu when all we tried were the lunch specials. Looking at reviews, the price went up multiple times this year. Instead of the original $3.99, the small side portions of stew and rice were raised to $6 each. The meat was disproportionate to the rice, so I ran out of it very quickly, and it was not boneless - so chew a lot before you swallow! The staff were incredibly gracious and kind, and the sitting area was clean! I hope the next time we visit that other things on the menu result in a more positive experience.

First time trying Haitian food and I must say I was IMPRESSED. I got their fried chicken and it was light and crispy on the outside and very juicy on the inside. Their pickled vegetables( I believe they call them picklies? ) were amazing to be paired with the chicken. Their black rice was very good, I do think it was a bit oily but nonetheless very good. The star of the entire dish was the sauce that came with the chicken. Dip EVERYTHING in that sauce, it is thin but so good! It's so flavorful and just pairs everything together well. Definitely recommend going here! If this is a representation of what Haitian food is, everyone should be eating here.

I have been coming here for 5+ years and have never had a bad experience. I always get the fruit with extra sauce and extra pikliz. You can't go wrong with anything you get here!

Great food and great service. Also, the serving sizes are reasonable and they are not skimping on the food. Fish patties could be better but you can't win everything.

The food was just ok. I wouldn't return. The seasoning was off. I bought the oxtails dinner with black rice and plantains. It tasted like they used vinegar in the rice.
