Korean BBQ Taco Box

So this food truck joined about two dozen other food trucks and parked right outside of our apartment complex in Oviedo on the Park last night. We've heard great things about this place, so we had to try it. Everyone had to try it, I guess, because the line to get up to the ordering window was gigantic. This was obviously one of the more popular options there last night. We order from the KBBQ Taco Box (8" Flour Tortilla with Grilled Onions, Spicy Mayo and Lettuce) list, the Galbi Taco (Boneless Beef Short Rib). It was served with their house ginger salad, 1 spicy chicken wing, 2 pcs of a fried cheese roll (topped with spicy mayo), and 1 Korean side (varies). Let's break this down.The taco was delicious. It was a little awkward. It was just a big ol' tortilla. But I like tacos, so it didn't bother me. It just looked strange. The beef itself was so tender and flavorful. It was slathered with it's own sauce that was sweet and gingery. I loved it. I wanted to get another one. The salad was meh. Ginger dressing on some lettuce. The spicy chicken wing was amazing. It was pretty spicy, so we wary, but it was perfectly crispy with moist wing meat inside. They offer a whole box of these things that I'm going back for soon. The fried cheese thing was interesting. It wasn't particularly cheesy, but it was a nice, rich, deep fried thing that had that good spicy mayo on it. The Korean side, I didn't know what it was. It looked like a fried green tomato, but it tasted like a fried slice of mashed potatoes. I don't know, but I liked it. It was very starchy. Overall, I can see why this place keeps on ending up on Best Of lists. It was dynamite, the food was quality And quantity, and the speed of order-to-receiving the food was quick and easy, just what you want out of a food truck. Will be back.

I got the chance to go to the food truck takeover in Orlando and try this food truck. I got the fried cheese box and it was delicious!!!! It was like a fried tofu because they were stuffed with meat, rice , and cheese and it was something that is innovative and different!If you get the chance to try this food truck please do yourself a favor and try it!

I visited the Taco Box at my wife's event at her job. They were one of probably 10 other food trucks there. Seeing the line they had there and knowing I haven't tried them yet I decided to give them a shot. I got in line and boy was it a long wait. I took the time and analyzed the menu. The core entrees come with meat, rice, ginger salads and a spicy wing. There is also options to get your meat on a taco or sub. They also have special boxes that you can get things like just wings and rice in. In the end I wish I would have gotten the Special box of wings. I was greeted nicely by a gentleman at the window. What I ended up ordering was the #2 Bulgogi. The meat was flavored pretty well and the rice was cooked nicely. The ginger salad tasted just ok. When I got to the wing, that is where the dish redeemed itself. It was a beautiful blend of spice that left me yearning for more. Upon further review, would I go back? Maybe, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so. Overall this is a decent option for a bite to eat but to be honest it didn't knock my socks off.

My hubby bought me a to go plate from here. It was delicious and a full plate too. We were very happy with our purchase and the price was good. I love food trucks, so happy to find a good one here in central FL.

They are one of my favorite food trucks. Their entire menu is good. The fried cheese roll is my favorite!

Yum yum yum! The food here is delish. If you're wanting something light & healthy or some veggies... wellll they don't really offer that here!But delicious fried cheese rolls? YES! Think crispy fried sushi rolls but without fish and instead, mild cheese. And spicy mayo drizzled on tip (see photo).And tasty bulgogi beef? YES! mmm.Oh and spicy pork tacos? YES! Those are one of my favorite dishes here.Sometimes they have fried potato (like tempura potato slice) for $1 extra.One of my favorite things is each box/combo comes with a variety of stuff... a chicken wing, a ginger salad (like the kind you would get in a Japanese restaurant), a couple pieces of fried cheese roll, a hearty helping of rice and the main entree (unless you order a taco or sub). The rice boxes are my favorite but the spicy pork taco is very much worth a try!You get a lot of yummy food for cheap here. No, it's not for dieters. Definitely one of the best food trucks in town. Good amount of food for the price. We were able to make a little lunch for two of us out of one box. The taco couldn't have been better, and I had no idea what the fried cheese roll was going to be but it was the stuff of food fantasies! The only thing I didn't like was the chicken wing, but I'm not a fan of wings with bone.

Amazing food. Love that it comes with a chicken wing, salad, and side. Can't wait until they're in the area again.

I was amazed by how good this was. Probably the best taco I've ever had (the number 8, bulgogi). All of the extras were great too. A little pricy for a food truck, but for the amount of food, it was great.

10/10 recommend. I went to the food trucks on Tuesday by the Milk District. They have the Korean BBQ taco box and I ordered the bulgogi tacos. They were so delicious! The box comes with salad and a chicken wing. Very good!
