Visiting from North of Boston, searched for a Thai restaurant, found this one in Gateway Village Plaza (it wasn't easy) and were delighted. It is small, intimate and excellent. If we ever return to this area again, we will look forward to eating the food and engaging with the staff. By the way, the owners have two young daughters...see what I mean...intimate, friendly.I did have better Pad Thai once...on the grounds of the Vimanmek Mansion in Bangkok.

Food: 5Service: 4Ambience: 5Date/Time: 2/2/2025 11:30pmOrder: Korean Noodles, Drunken NoodlesCrowd: only 1 other table occupied but by the end of lunch, 4 more filledFood was excellent and spiced just right at level 2 heat. There was a good portion of food on the plate. The noodles and chicken were both tasty and tender. Service was good but the guy at the counter who was also your server could use some caffeine to perk up a bit. Walking around with hands in pockets and no smile gives off some negative vibes. The place was decorated up really nice with plants all around. Very inviting!Highly recommend it.

I was visiting Orlando for a work conference and looking for a place to enjoy a nice dinner. As most people do I came to Yelp for suggestions. This place was near my hotel and had really good reviews so I decided to go there. Mind you there were plenty of options to choose from. A family of 3 was in front of me. They were sat down. I waited my turn. I was a party of 1. I waited and waited. Not once being acknowledged to say I'll be with you by the male server/host. It's a small place, there was no way I was not noticed. Well apparently I was noticed just not acknowledged as a gentlemen who looked like the server was acknowledged and given his to go order. I asked if I just sit myself or do I continue to wait. I was instructed to grab my own menu and a table was pointed out to me. When my order was taken I said please and thank you as it's common courtesy. Still no greeting. My food is brought to me. I say thank you. Nothing. However the 2 tables immediately next to me who again look like the waiter were treated differently with some light hearted banter and very polite exchanges going on. Time to pay . I asked if I pay there at the table or the counter. I was done. I was motioned to head to the counter. Again standing there waiting and waiting to pay. A gentleman , who also looked like the waiter, standing by the counter waiting was offered a free Thai tea. I paid and said thank you. Even gave a 15% tip, would have given more except the service was horrendous. Not once was I acknowledged or thanked. Now the food part. Food was ok. I ordered the spicy eggplant with chicken. Eggplant was not cooked throughly, somewhat rough. With so many options in the area I'd skip this place!

I'm a huge Thai food fan and came across this restaurant. I am a sucker for drunk noodles so of course that's what I got and they were absolutely delish!!! The only thing that was lacking was they weren't as saucy as I'd like them to be, but the flavor was spot on! The man at the front was very kind and helpful as well. The ambiance has a small, homey feel with a modern flare. Def will be returning!

So we used their menu on line to order. What was pictured vs what was delivered are not remotely comparable.I won't return.

Great thai home cooking. The place is fairly new -open since July. The family owned business provides great customer service and the portions are pretty good. The food is not heavy and feels like you are at home. We had the chicken cashew veggie and panang curry. I ate the whole plate of chicken and my baby had most of the curry. She is 2 years old and a foodie at heart. The food is good and we also had mango sticky rice that put a nice touch at end of the meal. If you're by the airport, try this place out. You will not be disappointed.

Small, fairly new Thai spot minutes away from Orlando international airport. It's located in the Gateway Village plaza where Agave Azul and Bonefish Grill is. It's really small and the front door looks like it's to the boba place right next door. So if you're not paying attention, you may go to the wrong place. The space is open and really clean. We ordered the Thai wings which was really delicious. Lightly battered and perfectly fried to a crisp. We also got a side of fried tofu with sweet chilly sauce. We also ordered a shrimp dish with some vegetables tossed in a mild / slightly spicy sauce. Our waitress brought the chicken version to us by mistake but insisted we keep it as they prepared the correct shrimp one that we ordered at no additional charge. Both dishes were tasty by the way. Our waitress was really nice and it's family owned. I think her husband was the cook. I'm not sure.. I just assumed. But you have to check it out if you're in the area. The service was great and the food is hot and fresh.

The description of this restaurant as a cozy Thai restaurant is spot on! The ambiance was great, very clean and everyone was very friendly! We ordered the pad thai, green curry and thai fried rice, I can confidently say it was one of the BEST green curries I've had in orlando! The fried rice had fried garlic on top that gave it a nice little crunch. The pad thai was so good and such a great portion size. Koon Thai will for sure be our new go to Thai restaurant in orlando!

This is a little gem in the land of chain restaurants. It is run by the cutest little family. I got spring rolls and shrimp Pad Thai... both were delicious!
