Kona Poké Apopka

Ok, first off the restaurant was clean and the workers were super nice! This was our first time here and at first glance we were excited at the high ratings since we are from out of state but when we got our bowls, I could smell a fishy smell and noticed the salmon didn't look very fresh but we still decided to give it a chance. By the end of the bowl, I noticed I was avoiding the salmon altogether and only eating the smaller bits of edamame and mango I had. It seemed like the salmon was old and slightly cooked? Not too sure. I'm a good eater and usually don't leave food- especially poké!!We both weren't very satisfied and actually pretty disappointed with the overall taste. After we left, we both started having upset stomachs and quickly needed bathroom breaks. Not sure if this was an 'off' day for the fish but we definitely did not get the fresh stuff. Also for the price, we didn't feel it was worth it, $15 for pretty small bowls that weren't filling. All in all, I unfortunately wouldn't recommend this place in the slightest.

I think it was a combo of the food and service that made this experience great. When we came in, we were greeted and asked if we needed help picking something out. Jessie went above and beyond explaining. And he was right about the sweet heat sauce, just do it! The other employee, didn't catch her name, was extremely nice and even brought us samples of dole soft serve to try. Both checked on customers from time to time, and kept the lunch rush moving.The food was great. Fresh fish, I did a build your own bowl and had ample toppings to choose from. My buddy did a bourbon chicken bowl and was very happy with his selection. There's about four tables inside and two outside. Little tight but it has a bright feel.

I had seen this place on Instagram and figured I'd give them a try! Their inside is super clean, so you feel that you can trust how fresh and good the product is! Everyone there was so nice, they even let me have a sample of the pineapple dole whip (which was wonderful)! I did a create your own poke bowl and felt that the price matched the amount and flavor I got :) if you are in Apopka/Casselberry area, definitely check them out!

Definitely hits the spot when I'm craving poke! Fish is always fresh and the staff is so kind! It's fast, easy, and so so yummy!

When entering I was immediately greeted by the staff, I ordered the build your own and the employee helped me along the way with ordering with the step by step process. The restaurant was super clean and the tuna was very fresh. I added the imitation krab which was a $1 extra but they gave me a good scoop which made it worth it!

Great poke selection and the dole whip was delicious. I wish their portions were more but it was yummy compared to what we have around. Service was very kind and quick!

Kona is fire! Who knew Apopka was hiding an uncut gem like this.I got the Kona fire bowl ($14) and it was delicious, big enough to share with my wife and I would definitely go back just for the free dole whip they offer with it ;)Finding poke with both fresh ingredients and a decent portion for a good price is a rarity. I will definitely go back!

Upon entering, we were greeted and explained what they had to offer. We ordered the make your own bowls. I was excited because they offered tofu! For my fellow vegetarians out there this is a great offering. There were many toppings and sauces to choose from. The restaurant is very clean and the food was filling and excellent! We were checked on often to see how our experience was going. I appreciate the great service! Great place, we will definitely return!

Super overpriced compared to small businesses poke bowl places and not as great of a selection
