Our hibachi chef was Elliott, a self-described New York Puerto Rican. But he had all the moves and kept up a constant stream of jokes. The food is unchanged and freshly cooked of course.****ALERT. Since my last time there, Kobe has instituted an automatic 18% tip onto your bill. This seems to be a trend among restaurants and I wonder if it actually goes to the chef and servers or is it just another way to pad the bottom line?

The food was good as always, but the overall experience was just okay. The ventilation was poor, so we left smelling like all the food--had to go home and change before heading out again. Our server seemed overwhelmed, which made service a bit slow, though the chef did a great job with the food. The second floor looked empty and unnecessary--made me wonder what this building was before. Probably wouldn't return to this location, but I'd still enjoy the food elsewhere.

I would have given this place zero stars if I could. The meal was terrible, and the service was even worse. We spent $300 only to be disrespected by the cook, who can hardly be called a chef; his name wasn't even mentioned--it just said "Go Fund Me."All the food was cooked improperly: the shrimp was raw, the scallops were poorly prepared, and the vegetables weren't even cooked. They told us they use boxed eggs because the health department no longer allows them to use real eggs. To top it off, the cook meowed while serving us our chicken, and the filet wasn't cooked to the temperature we requested.Don't waste your time here. Instead, go down the road to Celebration Kobe for a much better experience.

I am severely disappointed, we came here as a party of 7 for my son's Bday. We were greeted pretty quickly but once we ordered our drinks they took forever to come back. I was stuck with a stack of soup and salad plates in front of me because the server never came back. I ordered the seared tuna and it was severely overcooked there was nothing seared about it. The kids streak was also overcooked. I would have let someone know but no one came back until it was time to drop the check and by then we were all ready to go. I am pretty sure I got overcharged but was so rushed with paying the check that I didn't have a moment to look at it. I am really disappointed in this experience. The entertainment is fun but not the food was not worth it.

The new location is ok but a lot different from what im used to. No koi pond at the new location which i missed. The new building is strange looking inside with an open second floor that doesnt look like its in use. Layout is odd. Our chef was very kind and didnt do a big fire that would have frightened the little kid at the table. Food was fine as expected from any Kobe chain. Experience was fine but im not digging the new location and building as much.

We try to go to Kobe at least once a year for a birthday celebration, and it's always a good time! It does get very busy, so make reservations and go early for the best experience. They also have a very good happy hour. We've gotten chef Toyota a few times and he always makes dinner so much fun. The food is delicious and huge portions, so you'll definitely be bringing home some leftovers which they kindly pack up for you. And if you're there for a birthday, you'll get a little cupcake with a song!

We are regulars at the Kobe in Celebration and love that location! This was our first visit to this location. I really like the setup inside....very different than Celebration but I really like it. I ordered a Rainbow roll as an appetizer and it was great! For my entree I ordered from the 40th anniversary menu and picked the "land & sea" trio which is advertised as filet, shrimp, & lobster."The soup and salad was very similar to Celebration. I LOVE the ginger dressing and use it at home. One glaring difference from the Celebration location is the service....or perhaps better described, the scheduling. Our entire table was done with soup, salad, and sushi rolls about 25 minutes before our chef arrived. Our reservation was for 6 and we sat at about 610 (which was totally fine.) Our chef didn't get to our table until 7:11It seems to me that this location doesn't have this process down like Celebration. I was happy with the food but the delays were very unexpected......especially compared to other Kobe locations. Overall, the experience tonight was such that It is unlikely that I will visit again.

This was my first time getting the hibachi experience and I loved it! The chef was clearly very talented and made our time extra entertaining with jokes and some singing. My teriyaki chicken was fantastic and very reasonably priced, especially since each entree comes with a mushroom onion soup and salad, which had delicious peanut dressing. I wish I didn't live in a different state, I'd come back to this place all the time!

I love a good Kobe's night but this Kobe in particular is the best experience I have ever had had! The service, Antonio, was fast and friendly and fun, the cook, Danny, was so funny and accommodating, he had a full conversation with us and we enjoyed him we will definitely be coming back for him!
