We stopped here after a Nature Cruise on St. John's River. I'll review that soon. But I gotta say Knuckle Sandwich was DELISH! Simple but excellent fare! It's in an old gas station but don't let that be a thing cuz it's so good. We had 3 adults and 3 kids in our party. We had 2 Cubans, 3 Italian Subs and 1 Knuckle Sandwich ordered. Plus some feta stuffed olives. Drinks we ordered were bottled so if you like lots of drink with your meal you might need more than one.

What a let down... been wanting to try this place for months first impression was an empty restaurant with a complaining owner. "No body wants to work in Florida I'm here alone" after getting home and sitting down with my family to eat Knuckle Sandwich they forgot my sandwich -.- I'm sure there food is great if they are willing to serve it to you!

Easy solid four or more. You sure don't see a whole lot of mom and pop sub shops anymore. Not like this. Old skool vibes.Super friendly hospitality. Fresh pillowy bread. Quality meats. Damn, the Italian was good which is my baseline lithmus test for sandwich shops. Otherwise, they've got a good assortment of sandwiches, a nice line up of hot dogs, and reasonably priced libations. Amen to that! Easy to see they Love what they do, you can taste it.Some say the macaroni salad's plain and they wouldn't be wrong, but it's good. After enough church picnics and luncheons, I know a lot of people like it that way. We kicked it up a notch with some extra relish. BAM!!!I'd skip it if you're in a rush, though. It's definitely not fast food but it's delicious, reasonable, and worth the wait.

Just had a hell of a New York pastrami sandwich there. Liked it so much I double tipped. Delicious meat, warmed up without drying it out, fresh ingredients. It was perfect.

The food was good, not great. The Cuban sandwich isn't made with Cuban bread it's like a garlic sub roll. There's not much meat on it and too much Mayo mustard. For the price it was great. It comes with a lil rice and bean sauce which is a nice touch for a sandwich shop. The Greek salad was all ham and one sliver of salami that looked like the end of the stick . Good quality feta cheese and the olives were good. The staff is lacking but that's the same for everywhere right now. The kid who answered the phone when I was there told the customer the manager was in the bathroom lol the service was slow in my opinion. It took way too long to throw together a salad and press a sandwich but all in all not the worst or best I've had.

My wife and I were in Orange City, Florida for a couple of days before leaving for a cruise. We stopped in for lunch and the hotdogs and New York Pastrami sandwich were outstanding. We would eat here again if we weren't leaving tomorrow. The Owner was very nice and friendly.

NY pastrami sandwich on rye!! Delicious. If you haven't tried this unassuming sandwich joint, you're missing out. Love the laid back street-side vibe. So charming and "back-in-time" kind of pace. Knuckles is worth a stop!

Heading to Hawthorne going through barberville and we saw the banner. We stopped in I got the Philly cheesesteak and Sheila got the chicken Philly. The way these subs were loadded was impressive, the bread was soft, but the flavor was absolutely delicious. The crinkle fries were delicious, so was the macaroni salad. Honestly I think the subs here are much better than the subs at our favorite restaurant back home. The restaurant staff are amazing, professional and very attentive. AND we didn't feel stuffed after we ate our entire meals. Then we went to the Barberville Yard Emporium and enjoyed the amazing craft work. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The open air was great. What a great place for a great lunch.

Astor: salad was not worth the money, they put hot chicken on cold lettuce and ran out of cucumbers and left out the onions (in a small box, $12). Please tell customers in advance so they can change their selection. Best wishes.

Another sad attempt at a sub (hoagie/grinder/hero) that is a fail. Toppings are ok, meat is ok, but the bread/roll/sub is terrible. It would actually earn negative stars. Was really hoping this was a goto place. Pass.
