Kissimmee Diner

Super friendly staff! This place is exactly what you want from a hometown diner. Eggs. Simple sandwiches. Burgers. Nothing fancy. And great prices. Definitely would be here often if I lived nearby.

Excellent food and service. A nice environment to have a good breakfast and lunch. I deeply recommend it.

Staff was really friendly here and I like that they attach to a sister restaurant next door with two very different vibes, but are gracious enough to let you order off of either menu.The establishment was clean and well kept. The menu had a lot of options and everything from a light breakfast to a multi-person dinner option! They were keeping things clean and wiping down menus between customers. I'm excited to go back and try out the breakfast here!Overall: AA solid place to get a meal - check out both venues!

I was excited to hear that Joanie's reopened and got a bit of an overhaul with the new owners. I love diners! My mom and I decided to stop in for a bite after a doctors visit. We were greeted by Laura at the door and told we could sit anywhere. We chose a table near the door to Matador Tacos and tapas, which is connected to the diner. Laura brought over menus for both restaurants l and asked what we would like to drink. Since I saw the advertising outside for their new coffee drinks, I opted to try a cappuccino, while Mom stuck to ice water. We looked over both sets of menus and Mom decided she wanted chicken tenders and fries and I chose a cheeseburger with onion rings, which were actually for Mom too. We sat and chatted and before we knew it Laura was bringing us out our lunch. Everything looked great and tasted great! My burger was extremely juicy and the cheddar cheese was great! I snagged a small bite of onion ring before Mom ate them all, and the flavor of the batter coating was delicious. Mom really enjoyed her tenders and fries as well. I really want to return and have breakfast!Congrats to the new ownership for bringing back a town treasure.Happy dining!

Customer service is not great no greeting at all. I ordered breakfast and asked for home fries and it looked like I got French fries cut up very basic tasting food nothing stood out for the price to be about 14.00 I won't be back

Plain food. Didn't come out warm. All looks to be in microwave frozen. Not one bit delicious but not like you can't eat it. Coffee was good. Service was good and friendly I will give them that. The two stars is for service. But food nope no way.

This is a nice little stop for a quick breakfast in downtown Kissimmee. Great location if you wanna have breakfast then go to Kissimmee Lakefront. This place use to be something else and the new owners really vamped it up.They have all new decor that offers a homelike vibe. I love the southern charm. The service is very friendly and fast. They don't have a huge menu but they have all the breakfast staples for great prices. My boyfriend got a nice serving of hamburger steak, home fries and eggs. Not on the menu but they whipped it up for him. I had a nice side of biscuits and gravy. Certainly worth a try for a quick, yummy breakfast.

This place used to be called Joanie's Diner and it has since been acquired by new owners and redone. The space is a lot smaller, as the owners have split the space into two restaurants: Kissimmee Diner and Matador Tacos. This place was pretty busy on a Sunday morning! We didn't have to wait to be seated. The server was with us within 3 minutes of us sitting down. She was speedy with our coffee and took our order with ease. Food took about 10-12 minutes to come out and it was exactly what we ordered. It was a bit overpriced for what it was, but at least it was delicious. I had a veggie omelette with hash browns and it was $9. Will I return? Probably if I'm in the area, but not somewhere I would go out of my way to go eat at.

Service was good. However, the PattyMelt was really bad, a 4oz patty between two very very toasted pieces of rye, a dab of sautéed onions and white American cheese. Fries, Coke0 in the bottle, $19. They lost me at the toasted rye. Evidently the cook doesn't know American cuisine.
