Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream

I am told this is the best place in town, I once went there and felt like a clown, as my kid came out with a very colorful face, and I forgot to save space, tell me below why I should go...

We're never disappointed when visiting Kelly's. Their banana pudding is my favorite and I don't know if it's a good or bad thing that I can get it in pints, lol. My only gripe is that my phone number is listed under Joseph, which obviously isn't my name. I figured this out last week at the Mills location, so when I went this past Monday, to the Oviedo location, I asked to change my number. She said she did, but I got a text to the original number that I got points and the new number that the girl said she updated it to did not receive a text. I guess I'll have to keep track to make sure "Joseph" isn't using my points.

Time for an update and I will say as a Dairy based ice cream, it's pretty tasty. Their Mexican Chocolate ice cream is pretty darn great, as is the banana pudding ice cream. The Brownie Batter was OK (I've had better) and some of their other flavors are good as well. Nothing was mind blowing though.This location is still kind of small, but they do have all their flavors displayed and are always willing to give a sample. If you want to sit down and enjoy your treat, good luck. There are only a few tables inside and 2 outside and one of the chairs may be taken by a chicken.I won't attempt their non-dairy ice cream again. It was that terrible where I won't even give them another chance.Pints to take home are ridiculous at like $9 each which is crazy. I get it's homemade and stuff, but even the good pints at Publix are't that high at normal prices, and when they're BOGO, forget about it.

Pros: I have loved this Kelly's location for a long time. It's only five minutes away from my apartment. I love the fact that they have monthly special flavors. It keeps things fresh and new.I love that the bases of the special flavors aren't just vanilla or chocolate with chunks of stuff mixed in. It shows effort.Cons: No cons. Maybe just that they need even More flavors. Lol.Tips:Get a flight. Smaller services of six flavors is way better than a larger serving of one or two flavors.

First time at this location! It's cute, tucked away in a little plaza. The usual friendly service and plethora of flavors. There's a fair bit of seating here as well and a bonus for families, a huge outdoor space.

Had a little scoop of a desert at the yelp neon noir event. Glad they took know they serve treats with no milk. Rasberry sorbet light, refreshing and lots of flavor. The table was Cute, colorful and inviting and the lady was helpful with ingredients and what they offered.

We have been to this place many times, and it's obviously one of the best ice cream spots around. They have a rotating menu, so each week you go, you might be trying something different. This really keeps me wanting to go back to try new flavors. It has a small business vibe, but the staff is very friendly and quick at serving the food. The ice cream is outstanding and worth the price

Great ice cream shop with a wonderful owner. She was very warm and welcoming towards my friends and I. I tried a couple of their flavors that were available and even though they all were pretty good, my top picks would be the blondie and chocolate peanut butter brownie. If you really enjoy a flavor they also sell pints of their ice cream. The interior was very vibrant and they offered both indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're looking for a sweet treat!

Kelly's is one of our favorite ice cream places. The flavors are creative, but well done. Some of the small places try to do crazy flavors and it all just tastes like vanilla, not at Kelly's. The flavor comes through and the ice cream is always creamy. The employees have always been kind and helpful and seem to really enjoy their jobs. I wish the chickens outside wouldn't come up expecting to get some ice cream too, but that's not Kelly's fault. It's delicious!

If you're looking for a quick spot to get ice cream, Kelly's is for you! The moment I stepped inside and smelled all the flavors of ice cream, I knew it would be good. My boyfriend ordered a cup of Boston cream pie and I had blondie. Both were so good! Line moves fast.
