Kabooki Sushi

This is our favorite date night spot! Gwen the hostess was great! We made a reservation at the bar because that was all they had left but she was able to get us a table. Love her for going above and beyond. Food was delicious as always and served nice and hot. We got our favorites which was the yuca fritters, Brussel sprouts, shrimp gyoza, spicy tuna roll and Hokkaido roll. Drink service was super slow this time though - the table next to us was seated after us and they got their drinks way before us. We almost waited 15 mins. They did make it right with a free dessert which was very nice.We will definitely be back!

The food was fantastic. The tuna flight truly melts in your mouth like butter. Sticky ribs are an absolute must and were the highlight of our meal. A testament to how truly amazing the food is, is how packed this restaurant is. The only issue was the service. Items came out at odd times. After we had already finished our sushi pieces, the edamame arrived. Out of the 4 people dining, one person was not served anything he ordered until around the time the edamame arrived. We never got a few pieces and then the sticky ribs were served. Felt a bit disorganized. Great food. The service needs some improvement

Sashimi was definitely better quality and the Shishito peppers were the best I've had so far. Hokkaido roll was good but not impressive. Nicely lit bar however, dim at table areas. Music got drown out once the place got packed and it was hard to have a conversation. Service was good but could have been better, had the request for an empty appetizer bowl to be removed from the small table and I'm guessing he forgot my request for lemon on the water. However our water glassess were filled without asking. Wish I could give a 4.5 experience was just not quite a 5.

First time at this location, i've been to the e colonial one once before! The customer service was fantastic, from the greeter, to the server who changed my cocktail when I didn't like it very much, to the man who came to fix our wobbly table. Everyone was professional and polite. The food is ALWAYS great. We had the money bags appetizer which came with 4 dumplings, the zen roll, and the bluefin sashimi (which is pricey but worth it) ! I didn't like the jessica rabbit very much, I felt adventurous in trying Pandan in my drink but it was not very good in my opinion so I opted for the Lychee cocktail which was great, very floral! Beautiful ambiance and vibe for a date night!

Jamir was our server and he was awesome. Very helpful. The food was delicious. They did a great job accommodating me as a vegetarian guest. The ube cheesecake was to die for!! Restaurant is small and intimate. Bar area is very nice. Staff were very pleasant.

Food was amazing!! Jamir was our server and he was awesome. The tomyun roll was delicious. We LOVED the ube cheesecake and would come back simply for that. Will be back again. Disappointed we haven't been here sooner! Restaurant was very modern and fun. Small and intimate.

This is probably my 3rd or 4th visit to this specific Kabooki location in the Sandlake restaurant row area! They recently renovated the location and the new layout looks great! The bar has been expanded and seating appears more streamlined! We made reservations and arrived right on time on a Saturday! We were quickly seated and started off with a bottle of a French Rose' which was flavorful! We tried the fried chicken bites and some fresh tasting sashimi for appetizer! Both tasted fresh and delicious (the chicken was fairly substantial for an appetizer).For main courses, we selected a sashimi dish along with some rolls and both dishes were very delicious! The dessert was chocolate lava cake with ice cream and everything tasted great!The restaurant was busy and had a fun ambiance! The service was prompt and not rushed and overall a fun experience!

Wow! This was outstanding as it should be at this price point. You legitimately get what you pay for. So come ready to pay for an AMAZING culinary exploration. Our server Ryan was so great and added to our experience. The ambience is a vibe so don't be afraid to step out in style. They also have complimentary valet which is a bonus in the busy plaza. When in Orlando I would definitely come back. This is up there with some of best Sushi I've had in the US. The online menu allows you to see pictures of each item. Might have been Verizon's fault but non e of the pics loaded.

This to me is become the standard for Sushi in Orlando. It is outstanding and the service is great. Prices are a little high, but well worth it.

I was so happy to find this restaurant close to International Dr. I had been to the one on E. Colonial before and loved it. I came early on a Tuesday night and sat at the sushi bar, so I got to watch them make some of the rolls and the cold/hot tastings. I started with the Brussels sprouts which were dressed in a peach balsamic. They were delicious and a good portion. Then I ordered the Hawaii x.o and Hokkaido rolls. The Hawaii had a nice lemony flavor but the Hokkaido was the star of the show. So clean and fresh with a slight spice. My goodness that was delicious. Definitely go check them out. The food is a little pricey but they are very artistic and delicious.
