I decided to do some exploring in Orlando for some Filipino food. With the trusty Yelp app I found Kabayan Grill Filipino Restaurant.Whwn I arrived at the restaurant, it was semi busy. I was seated promptly by the hostess/cashier. Very friendly and attentive. I was given a menu and browsed through their food offerings. During this visit, I ordered three items:- Crispy pata- Garlic fried rice - Halo haloThe garlic fried rice and crispy pata came out around the same time. The pata had crunchy skin and tender/succulent meat. The dipping sauce composed of soy sauce, vinegar, and onions paired very well with the pata. The garlic in the fried rice pleasantly flavored the rice beautifully. For dessert, the halo halo was perfect for the humidity and heat of Florida.Great place to visit if you're looking for Filipino food in the Orlando area.

I was craving for a Filipino food and this place is always my 2nd option when my 1st option is not available.I was a little let down with the food we got. I remember their food being flavorful but this time everything was just bland. It doesn't taste bad but there's just no flavor. Kwek kwek - 7/10 - too much flour.Kikiam - 8/10 - it's good.Beef bulalo - 8/10 - not bad just no flavorBeef steak 6/10 - this is my boyfriend's favorite but this one disappointed him.Pork sisig - 8/10 - i like that they don't use a lot of cartilage but again not much flavor. ):Garlic rice 9/10 - i enjoyed their garlic rice.Overall, staff are very accommodating and friendly, the ambience is small and decent. Just a little hesitant to come back here now. Hopefully when we come back to try again it'll be different! (:#honestreview

I called twice they don't answer their phone and I'm hungry. If they ever do answer their phone and I'm able to try their food, that would be great. I will change my review.

Mom and I ate here yesterday and it was a perfect meal for us. We ordered Tapsilog, Crispy Pata and Inasal Chicken, and everything was full of flavor and the meat were tender & juicy. Not to mention the servers were very sweet girls who are so accomodating & warm. We spoke to the owner who was also a pleasant gentleman. Everything was great and the food was superb!!! We will be coming back for sure. 10/10 recommended!

My first time here in kabayan grill , we just googled it we r from California attending a conference and we wanted to eat Filipino food and this restaurant didn't disappoint us . We ordered pancit, bangus sizzling , kare kare , Lomi , beef steak with rice and Bicol express . This place is simple fast food eatery with few tables but the food is yummy everyone enjoyed the food . Portion is just enough not too small not too big but just enough . The wall is different they have cheesy quotations lol only Filipinos can understand. The chef came by and asked us how we r doing he's very nice . Unfortunate don't have room for dessert that would be nice . Anyway more power to u guys .

Missing home? This is the place to go. With cute corny messages on the walls and flavorful dishes. We're Filipino and we always crave Filipino food when we travel. It's too many ingredients to prep during our one week trip. So we stopped over here to eat.We got the Bicol express, lechon kawali, kare kare, pork sinigang, halo halo, and leche flan. Bicol express is one of my favorites. And I almost finished the entire family serving because it was that good.! Lechon kawali was nice and crunchy. Kare kare was the favorite of the table. So so flavorful. The oxtail fell right off the bone. Pork sinigang had the right amount of sourness. The halo halo was HUGE! And with our party of 8, it was perfect. The leche flan- CHEFS KISS. We wanted to order a whole party pan.

I've eaten here several times over the past few years. It's always really great! From Adobo to Tocilog, it's all delicious! I especially love their garlic fried rice and lumpia Shanghai. They have THE BEST lumpia Shanghai that I've ever had from a restaurant. Sorry, but they can't beat the Shanghai from my friend from College, Cecile. Hers was the first Shanghai that I ever had, and I've been chasing that goodness for over 40 years. But seriously, Kabayan Grill does come pretty close to Cecile's lumpia.
