A burger on a sub roll? I was like, oh heck no this is not going to be good. And I was right... IT WAS GREAT! Yes, not your average circle burger on a circle bun. This is a burger on a sub roll and it was divine. Cooked and flavored perfectly. I literally demolished it while I was walking away from the food truck, it was that good. I read later that it was a family recipe and can only imagine the Bush's Baked Beans pup wanted to share the recipe cause it's that good and this is that good. I had a great experience with the owners and was really impressed with the burger and for those of you that follow my reviews, I love me some burgers. They also have a breakfast menu that I am dying to try. I can't wait to grab some more delicious meals from this awesome truck!

K Burgers are different from traditional steak burgers. Instead of a round patty, the meat is sliced from a large hunk of ground beef in a family recipe marinade and slowly simmered. The burger is served sub-style on a long, toasted bun. Different specialty burgers are served with a variety of house-made condiments, but be sure to try get a burger with sour cream sauce!

Chef Jeff has done it again! He has just unveiled his "Vegwood" sandwich. Now, I am a carnivore at heart. However, this veggie sandwich will even make meat lovers drool. Basically, it is built with fried eggplant, fried green tomato, cheese, red peppers, (I'm leaving out a couple items), with key lime hummus on a chiabata bun. This is his best sandwich to date.

I checked out the K Burgers truck for the first time tonight while it was parked along Virginia Dr. during an event at which art vendors and more display their goods. (Much more than this was going on, too!) I'd heard some things about it but, until tonight, wasn't able to find them on Facebook and didn't read the existing reviews on here, so I didn't truly know what to expect. I kept it simple and ordered a Tex-Mex burger, which has homemade spicy guacamole on it. It was delicious! The burgers here are different than the ones you can get nearly everywhere else - these are served on a hoagie roll instead of a traditional hamburger bun. It was an interesting touch and the hamburger was excellent. Now that I've checked out the truck's website and found its Facebook page, I surely will be following it much more closely. The website (www.kburgers.com) includes the truck's menu - if you check it out, you'll see that the truck offers much more than just hamburgers. There's one item that stood out to me - the Crab Cake BLT. I was VERY tempted to get this, but opted for the Tex-Mex burger instead since it was only $5.75 (as compared to the Crab Cake BLT's $10). However ... I almost - ALMOST - got that to take home with me after eating the hamburger ... but didn't. It sounds amazing: it's served with cherrywood bacon, lettuce and tomato (a given, considering that "BLT" is in the dish's name) and a chili remoulade sauce on a whole-wheat ciabatta bun. I'm tempted to go back there right now and get one of these as I look at what I just typed ... ahh! I guess I'll wait until it's around these parts again, though. If I get around to trying that and it's anywhere close to as good as it sounds, then I may have to bump this rating up from 4 stars to 5.Check this out if you can - I highly recommend it so far. This has the potential to be one of the city's best food trucks ... if it already is not, that is.Credit and debit cards are accepted and there are links to the truck's Facebook and Twitter pages on the main website (again, www.kburgers.com).

Yummy burger but not your typical round patty. Served on a French sub type baguette that was perfectly toasted. I had the spicy guacamole it was good but to spicy for me. If I could suggest something it would be to have a burger option that is not orignial, bbq and all the other ones are spicy. Id love to see a cheese one, regular guacamole, for the wimps like me out there. The husband and wife team are super nice and would recommend everyone to stop by for a cheap eat. I am looking forward to trying crab cakes.

Very nice! Potato salad was one of the best I've had. Presentation is weird, but it works! I would eat here again.
