The food was very decent, especially for the price that you pay! I can't remember the last time I had a sit down meal for less than $12 (before tip). I can safely assume that anything on the menu would more than satisfy your taste buds.The service was a little slow but that didn't hinder my experience. I was also expecting that would be the case just by looking around and taking in the surroundings. An old fashioned diner is an always a pleasure to sit around and soak in.I recommend anybody in the area come try this place if they are looking for a quick, cheap, & tasty homestyle cooking bite!

Love Johnny's. Go a lot for breakfast on the weekends and it's such a good experience every time I'm there. Staff is wonderful and welcoming, always attentive and the food is great. We never have to wait long and our meals are always excellent. Classic diner vibes, couldn't ask for better.

Hanging out with my best friend and we made plans to visit her after seeing all the cars during the weekend. Walked in and were told to seat ourselves. It was busy, so we went with the high top chairs near the front. Our server came by, and we each went with a sweet tea that lived up to the name, I should have gotten some additional water to dilute it down ($3). After a minute of searching the menu, I went with the biscuits and gravy ($8) with four slices of bacon ($4.5) because i eat eggs on the daily and did not want it today. My bestie went with the plain pancakes, comes with three 5-inch ones on the plate ($8) and a side of sausage links, three in the order ($4.5). The food came out pretty quick, and while the gravy could have used larger and tastier pieces of sausage, it was decent. The bacon pieces were good. Our server was good, though rushed, but they were moving people through. The noise level was not too bad considering the number of people and children all around. There is a good-sized parking area which works for them.

Love love love Johnny's' I've been coming to Johnny's since their oldLocation by winter park high school. My go to is the country fried steak with over medium eggs, hash browns and English muffin with coffee. Johnny's will always be a monthly go to for me. I come here with my family or my friends for our monthly meet up. Service is wonderful , I've never had a bad experience in 18 years! The new location is very nice, decor is modern.Could never be disappointed, best breakfast ever !

Johnnys is always a great diner to visit! We have been coming to Johnny's since they had their old location and the food is just as good as it's ever been. I like the new location so much better!I always get the Reuben and my kids always go for breakfast which you can get all day long. The new restaurant is much more spacious and has a diner bar which I think every diner should have. The wait staff is so friendly and accommodating and they just feel like friends! I love Johnnys and will return countless times!

Family owned and operated. Excellent service, excellent prices and excellent quality. We used to go to their old location and were even happier when they open a new location closer to our home. We like the new restaurant even better than the old location for parking and the overall ambiance of the larger location. One of the best breakfast joints in town. We'll have to try lunch one of these days as every time we've gone has been for breakfast.

We came a second time in 3 days. This time for lunch with friends. The prices are reasonable and quality of the food is top notch. Meeting the owner, Linda, was nice. She is very friendly.I had the fish and chips. It was lightly battered and fried crispy--perfect. The French fries aren't coated either, just normal, crispy potatoes. I substituted the Cole slaw for a house salad--crispy romaine lettuce with tomatoes. My husband got the tuna pita and said it was really good.Our friends got the 1/3 lb. burger with fries and an extra house salad.And the Reuben was delicious and not soggy at all, a real plus.

When it comes to diners, everyone loves them, but lately a lot of them aren't great, or the quality is bad. Not this place. Put Denny's in your rear view mirror because no one can top this place. The best diner I've found in a long time. Extremely clean, really delicious food, and the prices can't be beat. To be able to go to a diner a few times a week without breaking the bank is just like old times. The ham in my omelette was amazing, coffee has low acidity, sodas are fizzy and fresh, everything is great. And super fast too. My new regular spot. I love you Johnny's. Thank you for being that piece of Americana that we all missed so much.

10/10!! the food it was very filling for the little we spent and all the staff was so welcoming! it was a little empty but we did go an hour before closing on christmas eve. it was nice and quiet and they were playing christmas music at a level that wasnt overwhelming for someone who struggles with sensory issues!
