Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company

It was a little chilly out in Animal Kingdom on my family's first theme park visit over the holiday season. It was around 40 out and we decided to stop by Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Company in the morning to get some hot chocolate! I only typically see Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Company in Florida while visiting Dinsey World. Supposedly, there are over 23 Joffrey locations across Walt Disney World! This one is located at Animal Kingdom.Joffrey's Coffee has a variety of drinks from coffee, latte, teas, hot chocolate, and more! You can even get some food here like donuts! The hot chocolate that we had was awesome! It helped us stay warm too while the morning was cold out! Service was quick and the team members were helpful!

In the rush to get out of our hotel to make it to the transportation area and into the park before the lines got too crazy, I forgot to stop for a coffee. I need coffee to start my day, especially one that promised heat, long walks, long lines and crabby children. LolI was a bit nervous because I'm not a fan of Starbucks and usually that's what reigns at theme parks. As we walked in before making it to the park, I noticed a kiosk with coffee in its name, from afar. It happened to be empty and I quickly looked at the menu and noticed they served mocha latte coffee. I purchased a hot mocha latte and a donut for my son. He was in heaven with his large, sprinkles, blue donut and I was in coffee heaven with my delicious latte. I had never noticed these little kiosks before but I can assure you I'll pay attention moving forward. Delicious coffee and donuts and the service was great as well.

The worst coffee and staff I have ever experienced. I love a good coffee, and options were pretty limited in Disney, so I tried Joffrey's on a two separate occasions. Both times my coffee needed to be replaced because it was not what I ordered and was disgusting. I asked at the window if they have plain unflavored cold brew and they said yes, so ordered a cold brew. When I got the drink, it was flavored. It tasted like coconut. I told them that and they said it wasn't flavored because they didn't put any syrup in it. They ended up replacing it with a plain iced coffee, which was not good. When I was also at the window, I asked what their frozen cappuccino was and they just pointed to the machine behind them without saying anything. I asked if it was sweet and they said "yes". So still no clue what it is or is in it. I will be avoiding Joffrey's at all costs next time we are in Disney.

In Asia section of the Animal Kingdom and I found my Gingerbread latte. Yeah! Ever since the other Seattle based coffee stopped, I haven't had a gingerbread latte. Go here instead of the other place! Yes, it is small, but the pastries are better--the apple fritter was gone very quickly and the mango ice tea is very refreshing. Take a seat and enjoy a moment of calm by the canal.
